During the course of its journey, AKS University, the pride of Vindhya region has left no stone unturned to make people realize its unfathomable potential in terms of energy, creation and innovation. On this occasion, Professor P.K.Banik, Vice-Chancellor resolved to give new dimension to University in field of research and development. Er. Anant Soni, Chairman-AKSU expressed his pertinent views on the main objective of establishing AKS University and sustaining its high level educational parameters. Varun Chamadiya, the “Motivational Speaker” shared his views on inculcation of excellent teaching skills within teachers. Dr. Pradeep Chaurasiya, Chahna Desai and Pramod Sharma sparked the occasion through their cultural presentations. On this occasion, Dean, Directors, HoDs and faculty members of all the departments were present.

Dr. G.K. Pradhan, Engineering Dean of AKS University visited the Shyam Cement Company situated in Java, a sub-continent of Indonesia. Sharing the information about the lime stone mines, Dr. Pradhan told that one of the special characteristics of the lime stone is that it follows the mechanical procedures in mining process rather than the explosives. Dr. Pradhan told that during the visit he met the director of Shyam Cement and discussed various technical aspects of mining.

Surface Miner is very useful and significant: Sharing his experiences of abroad visit Dr. Pradhan said that the surface minor used in lime stones of Indonesia can be used in Indian mines as well. This technique will be advantageous for the students of AKS University also as it will lead them to achieve higher positions in mining career. As it is well known that Dr. Pradhan had visited the Indonesian cement plant on the invitation of American Tranker. On his maiden visit, Dr. Pradhan was congratulated by Chancellor-B.P. Soni, Vice Chancellor-P.K. Banik, Chairman-Anant Kumar Soni, Dean, Directors and HoDs of all the departments.

Practical training is one of the vital aspects of the syllabus framed by the AKS University and so the University keeps on organizing the practical training of students in reputed organizations in regular time intervals. In this series, 26 students of AKS University belonging to different streams like B.Sc and B.Tech participated in two days workshop organized in National Academy of Science Institute, Allahabad from 22/12/2016 to 23/12/16 on the topic Foundation of Mathematics. During the workshop, students received the knowledge of basic principles of mathematics such as real numbers, countable and uncountable numbers, ordinal and cordinal number sets, mathematical logic and various theorems. During the visit, students were guided by Sudha Agrawal-HOD Mathematics and faculty members named Bharat Jaiswal, NeelKanth Napit, Radhekrishna Shukla, Hrishikesh Chaurasiya and Ramesh Singh.

Seventh semester students of AKS University made an industrial visit to Hutty Gold Mines situated in Karnataka state. 12 students of B.Tech Mining were selected for the visit where they received the practical training of all those topics of syllabus which they had studied in classes. During the training programme students learnt the inspection of mines surface, they also learnt the metallurgical infrastructure, hydrolic stowing arrangement, training center, resque station and training gallery. Students also received the practical knowledge of gold mining. As it is well known this mines produces the 5 K.G. gold/day. The understanding of the functioning of the gold mine enhanced the knowledge of students and boosted their confidence level.

Maintaining its record of providing placement to students through campus drives, AKS University organized yet another drive to help in realizing the dreams of students. Amazon, a reputed online shopping company came for a placement drive in campus of AKS University. During the campus drive approximately 50 students of B.Com, B.Sc IT and BCA got the opportunity to participate. Speaking about the drive M.K.Pandey told that two students namely Rishabh Pandey and Madhuresh Sen were selected by the company HRs on the salary package of 2.24 lacs/annum.

Fifth semester students of B.Tech, Civil Engineering received the vocational training in SKY FY lab Center Civil Simplified, Hyderabad between 12th to 17th of December 2016. During the training programme students received the valuable information related to building information, modeling, construction planning and management.

Significance of CPM training: CPM training plays a very significant role in Civil Engineering because the students equipped with the CPM training can carry out the time consuming and cumbersome field works easily and accurately with the help of computers, so it is the suitable substitution of paper works. Through the CPM, any construction work can be supervised through computers.

SKY FY lab, a reputed institution: “sky fy lab Center from Civil Simplified” is a reputed institution which deals with the various softwares related to building construction such as prime vera,oracle,orchicad,start pro,GPM,GRS instruments training, it also issues ISO certified certificates after the successful completion of training.

Biocare India Private limited, a Nagpur based reputed company and a well known name in production of fertilizers and pesticide, organized a campus drive for the agriculture students of AKS University recently. 50 students of agriculture faculty participated in drive. During the course of campus drive students of B.Sc. (Ag), M.Sc. (Ag) and B.Tech (Ag) went through the PPT presentation given by the HR Managers. PPT presentation was followed by the technical interview in which 7 (seven) students were selected. Selected students will be working in company in capacity of Territory Manager and Marketing Executive with salary package of 2.25 lacs per annum. Names of the selected students are Krishna Bahadur Singh, Akshay Paleewal, Lavkesh Soni, Ashish Dahayat, Pradeep Panchal, Hemant Verma and Bhuvneshwar Sisodiya.

 

                         Speaking at the end of the campus drive HR Managers of company said that the syllabus framed for the students of AKS University is industry oriented and the students of AKS University are professionally positive moreover the reputation of AKS University is excellent among the HRs of various industries, these are the factors which propelled them to organize the campus drives in AKS University.

The Computer Science Department of AKS University organized a Workshop on cashless transaction here on Tuesday. The Chief Guest of the programme was Naresh Pal, Collector, Satna district. The programme was inaugurated by Dr.Harshvardhan, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, AKSU by addressing the guests through his welcome speech. In his address, Naresh Pal, Collector, Satna said that the women especially housewives may play a vital role in promotion of cashless and digital transactions as they generally carry out the financial management of the household expenses. He urged the women to opt for the e- transaction modes to carry out the 50% of their total transactions, and this would be their remarkable contribution to the economy of the country. He shared certain information and precautions pertaining to cashless-digital transactions with the students. All the government institutions nowadays carry out their transactions through cashless transaction modes following the intentions and directives of state government, he said. He shared some essential information with students related to the ATM, PAYTM, NABARD, POS machines, and various Apps. At the concluding session Professor Akhilesh A Wau,HOD, Computer Science department apprised the students about the digital payment,e-payment,Bank prepaid cards, debit cards, ATM cards, credit cards, use of POS cards, mobile banking system based on USD,micro ATM payment system and e-Batua etc. through PPT presentation. On this occasion P.K. Banik-Vice Chancellor, Chairman-Er. Anant Soni, Pro-VC-Dr. Harshvardhan, R.S.Tripathi, Director-Avaneesh Soni, Director- Amit Soni, R.N. Tripathi, faculty members of Computer Science department and a large number of students were present.

Professor Paritosh k. Banik, Vice Chancellor, AKS University participated in “Central Zone Vice-Chancellor Summit’ held recently in DDE auditorium of Maulana Azad Urdu University, Hyderabad.The summit had been organized in supervision of Association of Indian Universities. The summit was based on the topic “Sharing of Best Practices in ICT Teaching and Skill Development”. The function was presided over by Professor DS Chauhan, President, AIU and the Chief Guest of the summit was Professor HP Dixit. Addressing the audience Dr. Pervez Alam, Vice Chancellor, Maulana Azad National University conveyed detail information about the theme of the summit. Speaking during the technical session, Paritosh Banik, Vice Chancellor, AKS University expressed his views in a categorical and logical way. During his speech, Professor Banik presented a case study on “Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education” and suggested that the universities must emphasize on sharing their best practices with one another.

National Institute of Cleanliness Education and Research organized the Vishwa Swacchata Sammelan on 12th to 13th of December at India International Center situated in New Delhi. The programme was presided over by Dr. Priya Ranjan Dwivedi, Chancellor, Confederation of India.

A number of organizations from all over India participated: Group-51, a group comprising 51 Universities of India is dedicated to encourage the cleanliness in educational Institutions. Akhilesh A Wau, HOD computer science department participated in Sammelan as a representative of AKS University. As it is well known that the AKS University is the only university in M.P. which is an active member of Group-51.

AKS Professor addressed the audience: on this occasion, speakers representing the various universities of India addressed the audience on environment, cleanliness and on the services of municipal corporations. Speaking on behalf of AKS University, Professor Akhilesh A Wau shared the information about the cleanliness campaign initiated by AKS University. The concluding ceremony was based on the theme cleanliness is godliness which was attended by Deep Kumar Upadhyay, the Ambassador of Nepal in India.

MoUs were signed: On this occasion, the MoUs were signed between AKS University and Niger to make the education productive and conducive in accordance with the developments taking place in 21st century.
