Fifth semester students of B.Tech, Civil Engineering received the vocational training in SKY FY lab Center Civil Simplified, Hyderabad between 12^th to 17^th of December 2016. During the training programme students received the valuable information related to building information, modeling, construction planning and management.

Significance of CPM training: CPM training plays a very significant role in Civil Engineering because the students equipped with the CPM training can carry out the time consuming and cumbersome field works easily and accurately with the help of computers, so it is the suitable substitution of paper works. Through the CPM, any construction work can be supervised through computers.

SKY FY lab, a reputed institution: “sky fy lab Center from Civil Simplified” is a reputed institution which deals with the various softwares related to building construction such as prime vera,oracle,orchicad,start pro,GPM,GRS instruments training, it also issues ISO certified certificates after the successful completion of training.

Students learnt the following technical aspects: Sharing their experiences, students told that during the training session they learnt about the quantity of materials used in building construction, valuation of those materials, estimation of labour cost, quantity surveying in material and construction planning, analysis of building structure in load valuation of building, profit and loss, estimation of material and time management, the project management of any construction work through pert method, building planning and the techniques needed  to fix its dead line. During the course of training, students were guided by Dr. P.K.Majumdar and Vishutosh Vajpayee, faculty members of AKS University.
