AKS University held the grand Induction Programme for the first year students here on Friday. Anchoring the function Er. R.K. Shrivastava, Director, engineering department delivered the inspirational speech to motivate the students. The students were fully energized as they were inching towards realizing their dream to become a responsible professional. Induction Programme was organized exclusively for the diploma students of Mining, Electrical, Civil, Mining Surveying, Mechanical and B. Tech students of Agriculture, Food Technology, Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Cement Technology students. Addressing the students Dr. Harshvardhan, Pro V.C. informed the students regarding the objective of Induction Programme and also guided them about the rules and regulations framed by AKS University. Professor R.N. Tripathi apprised the students about the library facilities being provided by AKS University and the importance of attendance. Professor G.C. Mishra, Dean, students welfare told the students about the various schemes initiated by the government and AKS University for the welfare of students such as scholarship, chancellor scholarship, bank loan, railway concession, insurance facilities, canteen facilities, cultural activities, sports, English Club, transport facilities and other facilities being provided by AKS University. At the end of the programme Er. Anant Soni, Chairman AKS University introduced the students about the objectives of the establishment of University and his vision to give new dimension to the University in research, development and academic fields.

Mechanical Engineering Department of AKS University organized a Guest Lecture for its fifth semester students of B.Tech Engineering here on Saturday. R.K. Jain, Ex. President, B.T.L., Rewa delivered the lecture through PPT presentation on the topic Cable Production: A Talk on Power Cables. While delivering the lecture R.K. Jain imparted the knowledge to students on the topics like production process, quality of power optical and fiber cables in an interesting way. Sharing their experience about the lecture students told that the lecture has enhanced their knowledge regarding the industrial environment and its functioning. Appreciating the courses of AKS University, students said that one of the characteristics of AKS University is that it lays the emphasis on the upliftment of employability level of students which opens the doors of employment for the students.

Cement Technology students of AKS University completed their five months Apprentice Training Programme in various cement plants recently. Students received the training in cement plants like Prism Cement-Satna, Maihar Cement Plant, Dimond Cement Plant-Damoh, Centuary Cement Plant-Raipur; Reliance Cement Plant-Maihar etc.With a view to give opportunity to students to share their training experiences a PPT Presentation Session was organized at the auditorium of AKS University where students shared with the audience their training experiences through PPT Presentation. Students of Cement Technology named Ravi Pandey, Dhruv Singh, Amit Soni, Deepak Soni and Umesh Chakrawarthi shared their training experiences. Speaking on the occasion Vice Chancellor P.K. Banik said that the apprentice training has helped the students to learn the intricacies of cement production and will pave the way for the new job opportunities to students.G.C. Mishra, Director, Cement Technology informed about the participation of students in entire training programme and also apprised the audience about the various provisions of apprentice training.

Musashi Auto Parts Private Limited, a Haryana based company organized a campus drive in AKS University here on Tuesday in which 3 students were selected. Names of selected students are: Mukesh Singh, Ikram Ali and Atul Kumar Gupta. Selected students will receive a salary package of 1.44 Rs/annum. AKS University management has congratulated the students for their achievement.

Seventh Semester Students of B.Sc. Agriculture visited the Sitpura village and involved themselves in field work under the Krishi Karya Anubhav Programme designed especially for the agriculture students of AKS University. Students named Devendra Thakrey,Jitendra Patel,Lokendra Patel,Jitendra Tiwari,Abhishek Patidar,Vineet Kesari,Vivek Tripathi and Aditya Verma visited the village and shared the information pertaining to various government schemes  such as “Swachha Bharat Compaign” and “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.In next segment students named Yadvendra Tiwari,Shubham Sharma, Shubham Kushwaha, Mahendra Ajay,Ajay Singh,Abhishek Prajapati,Pradeep Patel,Devendra Soni and Sahil Yadav visited the Lohraora village and organized the Swacchata Abhiyan over there. Under this compaign, students encouraged the villagers to wash the hands before taking eatables and mixed up the bleaching powder in wells of the village. Apart from it, students told the villagers about the significance of cleanliness. During the entire RAWE programme students were guided by the RAWE in charge Dr. Doomer Singh and Priyanka Mishra. AKS University management congratulated the students and RAWE guides for the systematic and time bound completion of RAWE programme.

As per the collaboration with prism cement factory, AKS University will provide the training of cement manufacturing technology to the technicians and other personnels of Prism Cement Factory. Informing about it Dr. G.C Mishra, Director Cement Technology, AKS University told that after the training, the technicians and other personnels of the factory will get more efficient to carry out their cement production works. Collaboration was set up during the visit of Mr.Swaine, President Prism Cement factory and R.C. Yadav, HR Head, Prism Cement factory. The same kind of training programme will be continued in future as well, Dr. Mishra told. As it is well known AKS University is the only university which runs the 4 years B.Tech Cement Technology programme and students show their interests and inclination towards this course as it  gives the tremendous opportunity to students as far as employment is concerned.

An Induction Programme was held for the first semester students of Biotech and Agriculture students at the auditorium of AKS University. During the Induction Programme students were apprised about the importance and career opportunities in both Biotech and Agriculture fields. During the Induction Programme students were addressed by Paritosh Banik-Vice Chancellor AKSU, Er. Anant Soni-Chairman AKSU, Dr.Bhumanand, Dr.Harshvardhan-Pro.V.C., AKSU Dr.R.S.Tripathi. During the Programme, faculty members and students in large number were present.

B. Tech Agriculture students of AKS University are receiving industrial training in various prestigious institutions of the country.AKS University has managed to send its 36 students of B. Tech agriculture in institutions like Northern Farm Machinery Training and Testing Institute Hariyana,Central Farm Machinery Hissar, and Training and Testing Institute Budhani. During the training programme students are receiving the practical knowledge of farm machineries, farm power and various agriculture instruments.

Rane NSK Industries Steering System,Gudgeon selected 15 students of AKS University for the post of Trainee Engineer. Three students have been selected after the completion of first step. Twelve more students will be offered the appointment letters after the completion of second and third rounds. Names of selected students are: Arun Kushwaha, Pankaj Kushwaha and Satyam Singh Bundela. Informing about the it T&P Head MK Pandey told that the students will receive a salary package of 1.44/annum. AKS University management has congratulated the students on their achievement.

With an objective to enhance the practical knowledge of students and to apprise them about the industrial applications of their studies, AKS University manages to send its students in various reputed industries of country which helps the students to set up a better co-ordination between their theoretical knowledge and its practical application, it also helps into the selection of students in campus placement programmes. Conveying more information about it Rama Shukla, H.O.D. Electrical Engineering told that the second year students of Electrical Engineering are receiving 15 days industrial training in Chachai Thermal Power Plant situated in Amarkantak and first year students in Sanjay Gandhi Thermal Power Plant situated in Birsinghpur palee while Diploma students and B.Tech girls are receiving training in MPEB situated in Pateri Satna & MPPTCL situated in Sitpura respectively. After the completion of training programmes students will get equipped with the knowledge of electric production process, Transmission and Electric Distribution Process, she said. During the entire training programme students are being guided by Acchut Pandey, (faculty member, EE) and K.K. Tripathi.
