Kanchi Shilpa Reddy, 8^th semester student of B.Sc. (Honors’) has been selected to pursue her master’s degree in United States of America. Shilpa will get the admission in Virginia University of USA, where she will study Land Scape Architecture over there. Shilpa went through the examination like GRE and English Language Testing System before getting the admission in such a reputed University of USA. Kanchi Shilpa Reddy, one of the talented students of AKS University, has passed the 7^th semester examination with 7.85 CGPA marks, and she is expected to give thumping performance in semester examination of 8^th semester as well. Kanchi Shilpa Reddy has paid her gratitude to the existing education system of AKS University, which shaped her to carry on the studies in USA. Speaking about her success Shilpa said that she would give the credit of her success to faculty members, and to the industry oriented curriculum being run in AKS University. As it is well known, in recent years, M.K. Informing about it, Rama Sharma, HOD (EE) told that students will receive thorough training in SANJAY GANDHI THERMAL POWER PLANT, where they will be apprised about the various functioning of SANJAY GANDHI THERMAL POWER PLANT. Informing further she told that students will get the ample opportunity to acquire the knowledge about the electrical power generation, distribution, transmission, modern electrical works, working of machines and electrical process, in guidance of subject experts. “Ten students have been selected for the vocational training, and after the successful completion of their training, they will be issued the Training Completion Certificate as well”, she informed. During the entire training programme, students will be guided by Rama Sharma, Er. R.K.Shriwastava and Er. D.C. Sharma.

B.Ed Entrance Examination for the session 2017-2019 will be held on dated 04/06/2017. Management of AKS University has informed that the last date for the submission of form is 25/05/2017, and the Entrance Test will take place on 04/06/2017 on Sunday between 9.00 A.M. to 11.15 P.M. in AKS University. AKS University, an Educational hub of Vindhya region, recently signed a “Memorandum of Understanding” with a Delhi based company named Ultra Enveron Services, a well known name in production of mining instruments. Ultra Enveron is a leading name in production of mining instruments, such as instruments used in blast and vibration. Informing about the MoU, Dr. G.K. Pradhan, Dean Engineering & Technology told that a futuristic MoU has been signed between AKS University and Ultra Enveron Services, keeping in view the interest of the students. On this occasion, Ultra Envero Services gifted to AKS University the instruments which are used in mining related activities such as blast and vibration. Dr. G.K. Pradhan signed the MoU on behalf of AKS University while Jagdeepak Mishra signed it on behalf of Ultra Enviro Services. Dr. PK Singh, Director, CSIR, Dhanbad made his esteem presence during the MoU meeting. “MoU signed by these two organizations will open new doors of opportunities for the students” Jag Deepak said. Expressing his views during the MoU meeting Jag Deepak said that the Mining Department of AKS University has left an exemplary impact in academics, and  mining students of AKS University have been receiving  training from most reputed organizations of the country, and it has been possible because  of AKS University’s belief on  “learn while you do”  principle , and it is no denying the fact that the students of AKS University will be able to get the placement in  same reputed organizations where  they receive training, he further added.

When it comes to provide the placement to students in reputed companies the record of AKS University has been unparallel in this region, in this series the Strata Jeo System India Limited, a Mumbai based company came in AKS University on Friday for the recruitment of diploma and B.Tech (Civil Engineering) students of AKS University. Two students named Suryakant Dwivedi and Astendra Sahu were able to cross final hurdle and were selected in company as a trainee Engineer  on a salary package of 2.70/annum. Selected students expressed gratitude to faculty members and existing education system of AKS University for their success. Balendra Vishwakarma and Manoj Singh played an important role in successful completion of Campus Drive.

Students of Cemen and Mining Engineering are set to visit Jordon, a Gulf country in month of May of this year, where students are scheduled to visit Phosphate mines located there, and will observe their functioning. Informing about it, AKSU management told that four students of Cement and Mining Engineering will visit various Phosphate Mines situated in Jordon. The special characteristic of these Mines is, the modern technologies being utilized there.   “The main objective of students visit is to apprise them about the functioning of globally famous Mines”, AKSU management told. Students are scheduled to visit the Mining Phosphate companies situated in Jordon, and will study the lime stone over there. During the entire visit, students will keep on receiving the expert guidance from G.K. Pradhan, Dean Engineering & Technology, AKS University, who will visit Jordon on the special invitation of explosive industry.
