AKS University held the grand Induction Programme for the first year students here on Friday. Anchoring the function Er. R.K. Shrivastava, Director, engineering department delivered the inspirational speech to motivate the students. The students were fully energized as they were inching towards realizing their dream to become a responsible professional. Induction Programme was organized exclusively for the diploma students of Mining, Electrical, Civil, Mining Surveying, Mechanical and B. Tech students of Agriculture, Food Technology, Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil and Cement Technology students. Addressing the students Dr. Harshvardhan, Pro V.C. informed the students regarding the objective of Induction Programme and also guided them about the rules and regulations framed by AKS University. Professor R.N. Tripathi apprised the students about the library facilities being provided by AKS University and the importance of attendance. Professor G.C. Mishra, Dean, students welfare told the students about the various schemes initiated by the government and AKS University for the welfare of students such as scholarship, chancellor scholarship, bank loan, railway concession, insurance facilities, canteen facilities, cultural activities, sports, English Club, transport facilities and other facilities being provided by AKS University. At the end of the programme Er. Anant Soni, Chairman AKS University introduced the students about the objectives of the establishment of University and his vision to give new dimension to the University in research, development and academic fields.

Mechanical Engineering Department of AKS University organized a Guest Lecture for its fifth semester students of B.Tech Engineering here on Saturday. R.K. Jain, Ex. President, B.T.L., Rewa delivered the lecture through PPT presentation on the topic Cable Production: A Talk on Power Cables. While delivering the lecture R.K. Jain imparted the knowledge to students on the topics like production process, quality of power optical and fiber cables in an interesting way. Sharing their experience about the lecture students told that the lecture has enhanced their knowledge regarding the industrial environment and its functioning. Appreciating the courses of AKS University, students said that one of the characteristics of AKS University is that it lays the emphasis on the upliftment of employability level of students which opens the doors of employment for the students.

Cement Technology students of AKS University completed their five months Apprentice Training Programme in various cement plants recently. Students received the training in cement plants like Prism Cement-Satna, Maihar Cement Plant, Dimond Cement Plant-Damoh, Centuary Cement Plant-Raipur; Reliance Cement Plant-Maihar etc.With a view to give opportunity to students to share their training experiences a PPT Presentation Session was organized at the auditorium of AKS University where students shared with the audience their training experiences through PPT Presentation. Students of Cement Technology named Ravi Pandey, Dhruv Singh, Amit Soni, Deepak Soni and Umesh Chakrawarthi shared their training experiences. Speaking on the occasion Vice Chancellor P.K. Banik said that the apprentice training has helped the students to learn the intricacies of cement production and will pave the way for the new job opportunities to students.G.C. Mishra, Director, Cement Technology informed about the participation of students in entire training programme and also apprised the audience about the various provisions of apprentice training.

Musashi Auto Parts Private Limited, a Haryana based company organized a campus drive in AKS University here on Tuesday in which 3 students were selected. Names of selected students are: Mukesh Singh, Ikram Ali and Atul Kumar Gupta. Selected students will receive a salary package of 1.44 Rs/annum. AKS University management has congratulated the students for their achievement.

Seventh Semester Students of B.Sc. Agriculture visited the Sitpura village and involved themselves in field work under the Krishi Karya Anubhav Programme designed especially for the agriculture students of AKS University. Students named Devendra Thakrey,Jitendra Patel,Lokendra Patel,Jitendra Tiwari,Abhishek Patidar,Vineet Kesari,Vivek Tripathi and Aditya Verma visited the village and shared the information pertaining to various government schemes  such as “Swachha Bharat Compaign” and “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao”.In next segment students named Yadvendra Tiwari,Shubham Sharma, Shubham Kushwaha, Mahendra Ajay,Ajay Singh,Abhishek Prajapati,Pradeep Patel,Devendra Soni and Sahil Yadav visited the Lohraora village and organized the Swacchata Abhiyan over there. Under this compaign, students encouraged the villagers to wash the hands before taking eatables and mixed up the bleaching powder in wells of the village. Apart from it, students told the villagers about the significance of cleanliness. During the entire RAWE programme students were guided by the RAWE in charge Dr. Doomer Singh and Priyanka Mishra. AKS University management congratulated the students and RAWE guides for the systematic and time bound completion of RAWE programme.
