Inculcating the implication of “Learn while you do” the students of AKS University get familiar with the various intricacies of the subject, and under the guidance of subject experts students learn the working methodology of industries. In this series, Pharmacy and biotech students made an industrial visit to Adarsh Plywood Plant situated in Sitpura under the entrepreneurship awareness camp initiated in AKS University. During the visit students were guided by S.P. Gupta, HOD, Pharmacy department Priyanka Gupta, Prabhakar Singh Tiwari, Shashi Chaurasiya, and Naval Singh.

AKS University, a University felicitated with “Excellent University in Rural Area Award” achieving a new heights of success and that’s what the reason it is acknowledged to be the educational pride of the Vindhya Region. In its effort to provide placement to students, it invited Cummins Diesel India Limited, a Pune based company to organize Open Campus Drive. The company HRs brought the students under scanner and selected 13 students. As it was an open campus drive so the students from Baidhan, Shahdole, Singarauli, Katnee and Jabalpur took part in it. As it is well known that the AKS university has organized many  open and close campus drives since when it has come into existence, and the students of all over Madhya Pradesh have been beneficiaries as AKS University gives them a plateform to fulfill their career aspirations. M.K. Pandey, Director T&P told that The Cummins Diesel India limited, Pune is a brand name in diesel manufacturing field and many other reputed companies are also influenced with the talents of AKSians and are in pipeline to organize campus drives here. The inclination of companies towards AKS University reflects that AKS University has been able to occupy a place in priority list of companies. M.K. Pandey further informed that the students will work as Junior Trainee Engineer in company and will receive a salary package of 1.75/annum. On this achievement of students Chancellor-B.P. Soni, Vice Chancellor- P.K.Banik, Chairman Er. Anant Kumar Soni, Pro Vice Chancellor- Dr Harshvardhan, Pro Vice Chancellor-R.S.Tripathi and O.S.D-R.N.Tripathi have congratulated the students.

In a yet another move to achieve the fixed national and international standards, the DGMS Dhanbad has issued statutory certificate to AKS University. The students of Mining Engineering of AKS University will now receive the certificates of Foreman, Second Class Foreman, First Class Mines Manager and certificate of competency by the Director General of Mining & Safety, Dhanbad. It was directed by the DGMS, Dhanbad, Govt. of India through its letter issued on dated 12/08/2016. As it is well known AKS University which has been awarded as National Excellence Award in Rural Area-2016 has successfully been running the mining courses like B.Tech in Mining Engineering, Diploma in Mining Engineering and Diploma in Mines and Mine Surveying for the last four years. Having received the certificate from the Director General of Mining & Safety, the students will now be able to get the jobs in any mining industry without any constraint.

The significance of certification: The significance of the certification lies on the fact that the certificate holder can render his or her services to any government and private mining industry without any hurdle. The certificate holder will be legally eligible to work in any underground or open cast mines. AKS University has left no stone unturned to get all required fixed standards in a very shorter span of time of its establishment and the certification by DGMS is one of them in this series. It is no denying the fact that now a days Mining Engineering has the vast scope as far as employment is concerned. AKS University organized a Guest Lecture on the topic System Application for Production at its auditorium here on Wednesday. Vikram Das- SAP Expert, Soft WIN Technology, Bangalore, Anil Mahajan, Center Head, Indore and Pramod Kaushik, Business Developer delivered lectures on “System Application for Production” to students of Information Technology. They informed the students about the importance of SAP and said that the students can give a new dimension to their career by getting proficiency in it.

Content of SAP: SAP software is useful in finance and controlling, human resource management, inventory department, sales, marketing, production and planning of any industry. This is software which conveys all reports in an online way to the management of any industry. Having been equipped with the knowledge of SAP, the students may start their career as SAP consultant in various IT companies like IBM, WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS, HCL, ITCC, INFOTECH, CAP ZAMINI and PWS.

Importance of SAP: In modern days, most of the companies work on the basis of Enterprise Resource Planning and SAP software which has been developed by German based company, has the capacity to control  the functioning of various departments like finance, HR, material, sales, marketing and production planning etc.

Faculty of Agriculture Science and Technology of AKS University organized an online training programme on basics of Remote Sensing, Geographical Information System and Global Navigation Satellite System under the supervision of Dehradun. On the first day of training programme Dr. Santhil Kumar, Director-IIRS, Dr. Sarnam Singh and Dr S.K. Shrivastava delivered online introductory lectures to 200 students of various branches like B.Tech Agriculture, B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Agriculture, and B.Tech. Civil, and B.Tech. Mining. Informing about it Maneesh Kushwaha,Co-ordinator-training programme told that under the programme subject specialist will impart the online training to students on the topics like basic principles of remote sensing, earth observation sensors and plateform,spectoral signature of different land cover feature, visual image interpretation and micro remote sensing. During the inaugural day of training programme Er. Anant Kumar Soni-Chairman AKS University, Dr. Neeraj Verma, Dr.Nandram, Dr.Bhumanand Swami, Md.
