Under the routine industrial visit, seventh semester students of Mining Engineering are set to visit Hutty Gold Mines situated in Raychur district of Karnataka state. Informing about it J.N. Singh, faculty member from Mining department told that during the visit students will carry out the technical studies of gold mines (metal science), surface underground mines, mineral processing, geological details, mines machinery and metallurgical process.

In a joint supervision of Rashtriya Seva Yojna unit, district hospital and HDFC bank, AKS University organized a Voluntarily Blood Donation Camp here on Thursday. The Camp was considered to be successful one as the faculty members and students helped in fulfilling the target of 50 units blood donation. The Camp was successfully executed by the active participation of Dr. Mahendra Tiwari, Dr. Deepak Mishra, Abhishek Singh, and Amit Mishra from HDFC bank, Saurabh Dhakad, Hari Govind Gautam and the personals from district hospital named M.L. Singh, Anup Dwivedi, and Babulal Dahiya.
A Training Programme was organized at the auditorium of AKS University where Dr. Akhilesh A Wau, HOD, Computer Science department shared the valuable and interesting information with students on cashless transaction. Through PPT presentation, Dr. Wau delivered the lecture on today’s most relevant and useful topic i.e. online debit and credit system. Explaining extensively, Dr. Wau told the students as to how they can make their life easier by using the various modes of cashless transactions. Through his lecture he trained the students on various modes of cashless transactions such as kisan credit card, paytm, ticket booking, cash back, money transfer, money apps and applications of debit and credit cards. Students also received the training of making online fee payment to AKS University. By the end of Training Programme, students had come to know that the smart phone placed inside their pocket is the best source of cashless transaction.
The Research Paper written by Dashrath Patidar, HOD, library (AKSU) has been published in an international journal named “Research in Library Science”. Speaking about it Dashrath Patidar told that the title of his research paper is “Indigenous of Preserving Manuscript in library” which has been published in July to December edition of above mentioned international journal. Speaking further Patidar told that his research paper is related to the protection of manuscripts in libraries. It also deals with the role of NMM in adequate protection of manuscripts. Nowadays libraries are being equipped with all essential modern information technologies. Manuscript protection is the need of hour in present scenario as these are the primary source of information with regards to Indian culture and traditions; therefore the emphasis is being laid upon their maintenance and protection so that the forthcoming generation may carry out the optimum utilization of these manuscripts.
Seventh semester students of B.Sc. agriculture of AKS University organized various programmes in a number of villages under RAWE programme. Under the RAWE programme, students visited village Sahijna where they organized the programmes like Kisan Sangoshthi (seminar for farmers), water protection to create awareness among the farmers. Apart from it, students motivated to village women for self employment by imparting them the training of producing jam, catchup, and saus of tomato and guava.
