AKS University is set to facilitate the field training to final year students of B.Tech Agriculture Engineering. Field training will enhance the technical efficiency of students. Under the field training program- me students will get the training in various industries being run by ministry of Agriculture and HRD.Informing about it Ajit Sarhate, HOD Agriculture Engineering told that the students training is scheduled to be held between 04/07/2016 to 31/07/2016 i.e. it will be of 28 days, students will be attaining the training in FMPTI Budhani (M.P.), Hissar (Haryana), Anantpur (Andhra Pradesh), Sonitpur (Assam).

        During the training programme students will learn the intricacies of Agriculture Engineering, and will also get the chance to get acquainted with new challenges of Agriculture Engineering and also learn the technologies to meet those challenges.

One of the reputed companies of banking sector ICICI Bank organized the Mega Open Campus Drive in the campus of AKS University in which 100 students participated. Informing about the drive M.K Pandey, Head T&P told that 10 students have been selected for the post of Sales Manager on the salary package of 1.8 lacs/annum. Apart from AKSU students, almost all the colleges of Vindhya region managed to send their graduate students to participate in Campus Drive. Names of selected AKSU students are: Shweta Dwivedi, Pooja Roy, Arjita Singh and Nidhi Garg.

AKS University has always been laying emphasis upon the research and development, in this series final semester students of Mechanical Engineering are working upon the invention of solar energy based HYBRID SYSTEM CAR under the guidance of Shailendra Singh Parihar and K.C. KORI (faculty members from Mechanical Engineering department). Informing about it faculty members told that the invented car will not only minimize the consumption of conventional sources of energy but also bring down the level of pollution. Moreover the charging cost of the used solar battery will be 80% less than the charging cost of electric battery. The cost of the car is estimated to be 1, 10,000 and weight carrying capacity is expected to be 400 k.g. which is far better than the weight carrying capacity of the cars available in market.

AKS University has been made the Local Chapter of the “National Programme of Technology Enhance Learning”. This is being observed as one of the major initiatives of MHRD, IITS and IIS in context of AKS University.Management HOD of AKS University Dr. Kaushik Mukharjee has been appointed as the Local Co-ordinator by IIT Kanpur, now the students of AKS University will be able to pursue all those vocational and professional courses free of cost which will be certified by the NPTEL moreover the faculty members of AKS University will be able to participate in workshops and seminars organized by IIT Kanpur.

Dr.Rajendra Singh, Raman Magsaysay awardee, celebrated social worker and globally known as JAL PURUSH will visit AKS University Satna (M.P.) on 16/06/2016. Dr. Rajendra Singh will deliver lecture in a one day workshop going to be organized by AKS University from 11:30 A.M. onwards. As it is we known Dr. Rajendra Singh has been honored with WATER PURUSKAR-2015 by Government of Sweden, and in India he is lovingly known as Jal Purush.Dr. Singh is also the member of Environment and Forest Ministry, Government of India.

          AKS University has decided to organize the workshop keeping in view the water scarcity and water depletion problem Satna has been observing for the last three to four years. AKS University has invited Collector Satna, Chief Executive Officer, President Jila & Janpad Panchayat and other social organizations so that they may get apprised about technicalities of water increase and water protection. Moreover the workshop will aim at framing a blueprint to get rid of the water depletion problem to Satna district. AKS University cordially invites all well-wishers of Satna to participate in workshop.
