“Research and innovation play a vital role in higher education, and it is the responsibility of the young Professors to get involved in research work for the betterment of society. One of the objectives of the higher education is to carry out the research and development to meet the needs of society” these were the words of Dr. Akhilesh Pandey when he was addressing to faculty members at the auditorium of AKS University. Dr. Akhilesh Pandey, who is the President of the Private Universities Regulatory board, said that the development, which we observe in field of science and technology, has been the result of farsightedness, deep thought process and tremendous efforts of scientists. Speaking further he said that the research work took place in field of medicine and chemistry, has been the milestone, specially the invention of penciline. He said a teacher not only shapes the future of the students but also takes the responsibility of shaping up the society. Elaborating further, he said that the research thus carried out by the Professors will bring laurels to AKS University as well. “AKS University, in a very shorter span of time, has been able to get the space among the best private Universities of MP. The University has always paid the attention towards the research and development, and that’s why it has been felicitated with many awards in past”, he further added. Sharing the dais, VC: PK Banik urged the Faculty Members to educate the students in an efficient manner. The function was anchored and directed by Dr. RN Tripathi among the  esteem presence of Chairman,Er.Anant Soni; Pro-VC,Dr. Harshvardhan; Pro-VC,Dr.RS Tripathi; Dr. GC Mishra; Dr.SS Tomar,Dr. RS Pathak; Er.RK Shrivastava, and a large number of faculty members.

Fashion designing department of AKS University is going to conduct a “seven days certification course” on hair and skin care, which will begin from 24^th of May. The certification course will cover the topics like face clean up, day make up manicure, party make up, highlighting of hair colour, traditional Indian bride make up, horror make up, yoga, hair straightning, hair colouring, hair basics and hair cutting. The subject experts coming from Kolkata (Poornima Das) and Mumbai (Pooja Yadav) will provide the training to participants. The certification course, which has been termed excellent and job oriented by the management (AKSU), is going to witness a large number of participation of candidates.

Two students from B.Tech Mechanical Engineering named Prakhar Prakash Dwivedi and kanhaiya Tripathi will depart for Thailand to present their Research Papers in a seminar, scheduled to be held in capital Bangkok on 7^th of June. Pankaj Shrivastava, who will be accompanying the students, informed that the students will deliver their research papers in an international conference, which will be organized on a topic “Modeling on optimization of grinding of seromix using hydril AMN and genetic algorithm approach”. The paper presentation will be followed by the visit to Asian Institute of Technology situated there in Bangkok. Management (AKSU) has wished “all the best” to students to perform well in seminar.

21 students of a school named Vyankat-no.1 came in AKS University where they were imparted 15 days “free of cost” training by the CS department of  University. Delivering the lecture on the occasion Akhilesh A Wao, Head (CS Dept.) said that there is a deep relation between input, process and output. “We are listened carefully during the communication if we use the correct language, associated with correct posture. It also requires an excellent eye contact with a smiling face.” He further added.

 Madhuri Soni, one of the faculty Members informed the students about the fundamental of MS Excel. Pragya Shrivastava conveyed valuable information about the increasing scope of multimedia and animation. Madan Mohan Mishra shared the knowledge about the accounting while Brajesh Mishra delivered the lecture on artificial intelligence.

        It was a 15 days training programme which commenced from 5^th of May and concluded on 20^th of May. Students, participated in training were also issued the training participation certificates. At the end of the programme, Akhilesh Waoo informed that the same kind of programme will be organized also for the other schools of the Satna so as to enable them to get equipped with the skills needed to get the job.

 On the successful completion of the training programme, Chairman, Er. Anant Soni; Vice-Chancellor, Paritosh K Banik; Pro-VC,Dr. Harshvardhan; Pro-VC,Dr.RS Tripathi and OSD-RN Tripathi congratulated the students, and wished them “all the best” for their future.

The students of B.Sc. (Maths and CS) bid a farewell to their seniors during a farewell party on Monday. The farewell party was organized at the Vivekananda auditorium of AKS University where seniors and juniors had a lot of fun together. Chairman, Er. Anant Soni, who was present on the occasion, wished all the best to seniors, and congratulated juniors for organizing such a nice party. Vice-Chancellor-PK Banik while addressing the students said that a new world will now be waiting for you where you will need  to  set up a co-ordination with the people around you, and you will have to take some important decisions. Dr. Neelesh Rai remembered the flash back memories with the students and wished them good luck and well being for their future endeavors. Later the function was followed by the cultural programmes and games. At the end Ripu Singh was selected Mr. Farewell while Pranjali was selected the Miss Farewell. Juniors also wished the seniors good luck for their bright future.
