In order to enhance the knowledge of students and faculty members, AKS University keeps on organizing the workshops in regular interval. Carrying on the series, AKS University, on Thursday, joining the hands with Pro-Active eye, organized one day workshop on “Mission Financial Literacy” at the auditorium of AKS University. Workshop began with introductory speech of Er. Anant Soni, who conveyed the audience about the usefulness of workshop. Thereafter, Varun Chamadiya introduced the Rahul Saini, the keynote speaker; and said Rahul Saini, after the completion of his MBA from UK associated himself with Mission Financial Literacy, and till date, he has delivered the hundreds of lectures, which have been widely appreciated by the people.

 Speaking on the occasion, Rahul Saini said that his organization “Mission Financial Literacy” has been set up for a social cause, which aims at associating people with Indian economy. “You need to be aware about proper investment of money, so that you may ensure the better return as well; the good return will obviously help you in smooth running of life, there are two types of income, active and passive, active income, which you earn in lieu of services rendered to others, while in passive income you need to work once, and then money automatically comes to you, such as authoring the book, and receiving its royalty.” Exemplifying the Baren Burf he said, the income earned by him was completely the result of passive income. There are 50 companies enlisted in NIFTY, while 30 are enlisted in Sensex, if you plan to invest in these companies, you will surely get the benefit out of it, the long term investment is more profitable than the short term, he added. He said that inadequate financial planning may also lead you to tough financial condition. Comparing Indians with foreigners, he said: 70 percent foreigners invest in stock market, while in India, 2 o 3 percent people invest in stock market, the tendency like this has the adverse impact on the progress of nation, he apprised the audience also about the benefits of mutual funds, and power of compounding.

 The workshop was attended by VC, PK Banik; Pro-VC-Dr. Harshvardhan; Dr. RS Tripathi, Director, Avaneesh Soni; along with the esteem presence of invited guests, and faculty members of AKS University.

AKS University, following the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution”, organized a programme at its auditorium to mark the occasion of World Environment Day. On this day, events like essay writing, drawing and extempore were organized, which witnessed the huge participation of students from various faculties. The function was directed by Professor R N Tripathi, who shared some relevant and pertinent information with the audience.

 Dr. Harshvardhan, during his address, appreciated the works of Municipal Commissioner of Satna. Speaking on the occasion, Commissioner- Paveen Singh Adhayat said that the cleanliness is the collective moral responsibility of the people, and pollution free environment is possible if every citizen is prepared to shoulder on the responsibility of his or her part. He said that the people should be aware of negative aspect of pollution so that environment could be saved, and satna city may realize its dream of becoming smart city. “People living in society will have to change their mentality, and will have to be more sensitive towards the environment protection” he further said.

 Sharing the dais VC-Paritosh K Banik said, aim of celebrating environment day was to create awareness among the people towards environment protection so that people may become self disciplined and more sensitive towards the environment protection.

 Dragging the attention of commissioner towards the encroachment problem, Director, Amit Soni said that the ponds situated in Satna need to be free from encroachment, and they are required to be covered with boundary walls, so that Satna city could be saved from water depletion problem. The suggestion given by Amit Soni was attentively listened by Commissioner, with positive response. Suggesting on the occasion, Professor GC Mishra said that the use of plastic and polythene as a fuel in cement industries may reduce the pollution caused by plastic.

Students belonging to various faculties of AKS University are being selected by the reputed companies of the country. Extending the series, Sriram fertilizers selected ten students for the post of Assistant Marketing Manager. Students were selected on the basis of their performance in written test and face to face interview. Informing about it, MK Pandey (Head, T&P) told that the selected students will get a salary package of Rs 1.80 Lacs/anum. Names of the selected students are: Deepak Thakur, Dileep Kumar, Ankit Kushwaha, Yogendra Kumar Kushwaha, Lokesh Patidar, Kapil Raghuvanshi, Sanjay Mehta, Bholendra Kumar Verma, Ankit Arya and kadhauri Lal Patel. They have been congratulated and wished “all the best” by the Management (AKSU).

Students belonging to various faculties of AKS University, achieve the excellence in respective subjects through the practical learning, and to get the practical experience, mining students reached Dhankuni Coal Complex situated in Kolkata. Following the guidance of Dr. BK Mishra, students met the subject experts where they were conveyed the valuable information about the protection of mines and and its functioning. Dr. GK Pradhan, Dean (Engineering); has wished “all the best” to students with expectation that they would leave no stone unturned to gain maximum knowledge there.

Fashion Designing department of AKS University; joining the hands with Brine India Films and Runway Glamour, Delhi, organized a mega show titled Fashion Designer Show -2018, which witnessed the huge participation of candidates. The responsibility of registration of candidates was being handled by coordinator, Dr. Deepak Mishra; along with Manju Chaterjee, Neelam Tiwari, Neha Goel, Chuman Yadav, Renu Shukla and Priyanka Dwivedi. The auditorium of AKS University, with open arm, kept on greeting the hundreds of participants till evening. The couples, synchronizing with the western tunes, walked on ramp, and showcased their talent. In front of the discerning eyes of judges, Chandani Shrivastava, Shweta Soni, Maneesh Tiwari and Rakhi Hotchandani apprised the audience about the theme of the Show. Yogesh Tamrakar, Er. Ramesh Jain, Anil Jaiswal, Avneesh Soni, Amit Soni (Director, AKSU), Rajiv Suri and Rishabh Suri were the guests of the function while CSP,BD Pandey graced the occasion through his  presence. Notably, Snigdha Seth, who is going to arrive from Mumbai on 10th of June, will be the focal point of the programme. It is noteworthy that the candidates thus selected from the competition, will get the chance of performing in TV soaps and movies.
