Students from Computer Science Department named Prateek Kumar Gautam and Anurag Tamrakar got success in “Linex Certification Examination” by securing 96% and 85% marks respectively. Prior to qualifying the certification exam, both the students went through the “Pre requisitely Global Exam Red Hat Certified System Administration Exam” as well, which they qualified with excellent marks. Both the students got the success in these exams competing with the students of IITs and NITs. Prateek and Anurag carried out the research on the technologies like Machine Learning AI Big Data, Hudup, Debox, Splunk and Spark. Informing about it they said, the operation of Software automation, configuration management, data center administration and remote software configuration become quite easier with the use of Ancible automation, which was not so in past. Notably, the Linex certification is quite popular among the IT professionals and Developers. In addition to it, students also received the global certificate from RHCSA. Department of Computer Science has congratulated the students for their achievement.

AKS University “As a knowledge Partner” participated in Mining Safety Workshop held recently in Jharkhand on the topic ‘Safety Management of Mining Machinery’. Inaugurating the function, Draupdi Murmu, Governor (Jharkhand) said that the Mining Safety is a burning issue and forum like this must be used to have constructive discussion on it. More than 150 delegates participated in workshop which is being held under the joint supervision of ‘Indian Mining and Engineering Journal’ and ‘AKS University’. Sharing the dais Er. Anant Soni, Chairman (AKSU) highlighted the contribution of AKS University in field of Mining. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included CMD-Central Coal Fields Limited, Shri Gopal Singh; CMD- Heavy Engineering Corporation, Abhijit Ghosh and MD-Essel Mining, Tuhin Mukharjee.
Ten days NCC Camp was organized in campus of AKS University, where cadets, through a number of sessions, were trained by third NCC Battalion of MP, while Tuesday was the occasion when closing ceremony witnessed the variety of cultural programmes, where NCC cadets demonstrated a totally different temperament of their personality by showcasing their dancing and musical talent. Chief Guest of the function, BP Soni, Chancellor (AKSU), graced the occasion by making his esteem presence, and sharing some interesting reminiscences. Also, he apprised audience about the importance of NCC. At the end of the function, cadets were distributed the certificates by special guests Chairman, Er. Anant Soni; Vice-Chancellor, PK Banik; and Pro-VC, Dr.Harshvardhan; All the guests present on the occasion, in a same voice, appreciated the discipline level, dedication and hard work of the cadets. Cadets named Girdhar Gopal, Mukesh Kumar, Pankaj, Shilpa Namdeo, Sangam Chaturvedi, and Prieti Sondhiya were honoured for their outstanding performance during the entire NCC training session.
Students from Diploma (Mechanical Engineering) were selected in a campus drive recently held in AKS University. Informing about it, Head (T&P) said, Krishna Maruti Private Limited, a Gudgaon (Haryana) based company came this time for the recruitment in a number of vacant posts of the company.
It is noteworthy, the companies, ‘in an unceasing flow’, are arriving in AKS University and the students are actively participating in them.
During the entire placement programme, the people who rendered their contribution included, Head (T&P), MK Pandey; Balendra Vishwakarma, Prachi Pandey and Manoj Singh
“The education system of the country needs to be developed as per the mindset and culture of people as it reflects the existing culture of the country. Plenty of work on education system has been done in past and still going on in the same pace, but it requires the adequate co-ordination between past and current system. The education system must be flexible enough to accept the changes as per the need of hour.” These were the words of Dr. Raghvendra P Tiwari while addressing to the staff members at the auditorium of AKS University.
He said, the Primary, Secondary and University education, are now inappropriately divided into various compartments. He emphasized on the consolidated efforts to bring necessary changes in current education system. He said, the practical classes should be the part and parcel of the curriculum, and attention needs to be paid on learning outcome. “Our education system should follow the principle of “Vasudhave Kutumbakam” and should be industry oriented, with room for improvement”, he added. To uplift the standard of the students, he urged the teachers to become more innovative in teaching.
The lecture was attended by all Deans, Directors, HoDs, and staff members of the University.
