Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (AKSU) organized a programme on Thursday to mark the occasion of World Pharmacist Day. Complementing the gathering on the occasion, Chief Guest Dr. DN Gautam, (Ex CMHO, District hospital Satna) said that the “Pharmacist” is a significant “Post” which has given a new dimension to medical profession. Also, it gives an ample opportunity to serve the mankind at their juncture.  Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Narendra Sharma said that the responsibility assigned to pharmacist, is quite useful for the society, so it needs to be handled with full of sincerity and gravity. Sharing the dais, Dr. SP Gupta, Principal, Pharmacy (AKSU) apprised the audience about the importance, origin and objective of celebrating Pharmacist day.

 On this day, seniors and juniors were administered the oath of maintaining dignity of the post of Pharmacist. A quiz competition was also organized on the theme “Pharmacists your medicine expert”, which was held especially for the pass out students, and was won by Mayuri Patel, an ex student of pharmacy.

 At the end of the function, variety of cultural activities like extempore, poster competition, scientific rangoli and speech competitions, were also organized, which witnessed the huge participation of the students. A health camp was also set up where the health check-up of approximately 400 students was carried out. The programme was attended by the top officials (AKSU) and almost all the staff members of pharmacy department.

सतना। एकेएस वि.वि. में रिद्वि-सिद्वि के दाता भगवान गणेश जी की विधिवत पूजा अर्चना की गई। वि.वि.के चेयरमैन अनंत कुमार सोनी ने वैदिक मंत्रोच्चार के बीच गणेश जी की आराधना की। एकेएस वि.वि. में गणेश विसर्जन के पूर्व विशाल भ्ंाडारे का आयोजन किया गया। विशाल भ्ंाडारे मे सर्वसमाज के गणमान्य अतिथियों और सर्वसमाज के हजारों बन्ध्ुाओं ने आकर प्रसाद ग्रहण किया और आयोजन की शोभा बढाई। गणपति बप्पा मोरया-अगले बरस तू जल्दी आ के जयकारों के साथ गणेश प्रतिमा का विसर्जन किया गया। वि.वि. के कुलाधिपति बी.पी.सोनी ने कार्यक्रम मे आए सभी उपस्थित जनों का आभार व्यक्त किया।

Research Scholars of Physics Department (AKSU) named Virendra Kumar Vishwakarma, Firdaus Nawaz and Anish Tiwari participated recently in a national conference held in capital Bhopal. Informing about it, University  sources told that the conference had been organized by CSIR on the topic “Recent Innovation on Advance Material” in which students presented their research papers, and left good impression on judges by scoring 41/60 marks.

Notably, the conference was attended by the 200 research scholars belonging to various states of India. Speaking about their research, students said that they are working on producing nano fiber based electro chemical devices which will be echo friendly and good conductor. Luthiam based energy procedures, which are produced now a days, are not considered to be echo friendly, and have the adverse impact on the environment, but the devices invented by the students will be echo friendly and would get decomposed easily. The credit of students performance entirely goes to the Neelesh Roy, under whose guidance students performed extremely well.

 On this achievement of students, Chairman- Er. Anant Soni and VC- PK Banik, have congratulated the students, and wished them “all the best” for their research career.

सतना। एकेएस वि.वि. के भौतिकी विभाग के पी.एच.डी. छात्र वीरेन्द्र कुमार विश्वकर्मा, एम.एससी. के छात्र फिरदौस नवाज सिद्दीकी और अनीश तिवारी के द्वारा प्रगत पदार्थ एवं पक्रय अनुसंधान संस्थान भोपाल (सीएसआईआर प्रयोगशाला) में आयोजित नेशनल कांफ्रेंस आॅन रिसेंट इनोवेशन आॅन एडवांस मटेरियल, रीम 2018, फिजिक्स आॅफ एडवांस मटेरियल के पेपर प्रजेंटेशन में भाग लिया। इस कांफ्रेंस में छात्रों का प्रदर्शन उत्कृष्ट रहा। उन्होंने इस प्रतियोगिता में 60 में से 41 अंक प्राप्त करते हुए विभिन्न बिन्दुओं पर वि.वि. का नाम रोशन किया। इस कांफ्रेंस में विभिन्न राज्यों के वैज्ञानिकों द्वारा 200 से ज्यादा शोधपत्रों का वाचन किया गया। इन छात्रों द्वारा नैनो फाइवर आधारित इलेक्ट्रो केमिकल डिवाइसेस तैयार की जायेंगी, जो कि इकोफ्रेंडली और गुड कंडक्टर होंगी। वर्तमान में लुथियम बेस्ड एनर्जी युक्तियां बनाई जाती हैं जो वातावरण को हानि पहुंचाती हैं। वि.वि. द्वारा किये गये शोध के बाद बनाई जाने वाली डिवाइसेस आसानी से डिकम्पोस्ट हो जायेंगी। विद्यार्थियों के प्रजेंटेशन का सारा श्रेय भौतिकी विभागाध्यक्ष डाॅ. नीलेश राय को जाता है जिनके सुयोग्य मार्गदर्शन में विद्यार्थियों ने कुशलतापूर्वक विषय पूर्ण किया। छात्रों की इस उपलब्धि पर वि.वि. के चेयरमैन अनंत कुमार सोनी, कुलपति प्रो. पारितोष के. बनिक और उच्चाधिकारियों ने बधाई दी।
