Akhilesh A Waoo (HoD, Computer Science) has been awarded PhD from Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology, Bhopal, for his research work on the topic “An Energy Aware Hierarchical Protocol for Heterogeneous Wireless Sensor Networks”. He has been congratulated by Management (AKSU) with expectation that the research work done by him, will be beneficial for the students of AKS University

AKS University, known for providing “quality placement” to students in top most companies of India and abroad, will organize yet another campus drive in month of May. Informing about it, Director (T&P) told that a leading company named Indus Tool is set to arrive here in month of May to conduct a placement drive for the students of Engineering and Technology. “There are some more companies in pipeline, which will soon be here for the recruitment of the students” he further added.

AKS University, the winner of “Best Innovative University in Madhya-Pradesh-2019” Award, organized a Placement Drive in its campus, in which 74 students were selected for the Equity Market, Commodity Market, Currency Market and Comex Market. In campus drive, students from various faculties like Management, CS and Commerce participated, and showcased their skills in written test, group discussion and personal interviews.

 Informing further, HR Manager told that Dollar Advisory is a leading service provider company which provides services through SMS, Email, Telephonic Support and Live Chat, and enables the clients to gain the maximum dividend out of their trades and business. “Dollar Advisory is an ISO 9001-2008 certified company, and registered in list of Companies Securities and Exchange Board of India. It is placed among the fast growing service provider companies, and has been earning good reputation among the clients”, he added.

HR Manger of the company showered praises at the knowledge and skills of the students; they appreciated the academics and learning environment of AKS University as well. Selected students will get a salary package of Rs 2 lakhs 50 thousand/annum, and will serve the company as Trainee at the initial stage of their job. On this achievement of the students, Management (AKSU) has congratulated the students, and advised them to serve the company with sincerity and full of dedication.

Students from various faculties were felicitated in an “Award Function” held in AKS University on Thursday. AKS University, under “Students Welfare Programme”, has been organizing this type of award function every year, where students are felicitated for their academic performance, and also motivated to maintain the same rhythm in future as well.

Under four years course award category, Prakhar Prakash (B.Tech, Mechanical), Mayuri Patel (B.Pharma) and Sudhanshu Singh (Agriculture) secured first, second and third rank respectively while in three years course award category, Anjali Bajaj (B.Com Honors), Prieti Shukla (BA.Computer) and Ashwini Raj (Diploma Mining) secured first, second and third position respectively. Under two years course award category, Akshita Garg (M.Sc. Biotech), Riya Basantani (MBA) and Shivani Singh Parihar (M.Sc. Physics), secured first, second and third rank respectively.

Notably students have been given the award on the basis of their performances in various fixed criteria like academic performance, attendance, HoD remarks, knowledge of current affairs, extempore, extracurricular activities and personal interviews etc. Students, prior to receiving the award, went through the skill test and personal interview, which were conducted by the Singhai Sanjay Jain and Dr. Rakesh Jain.

During the function, Chancellor (AKSU), BP Soni; VC (AKSU), PK Banik; Pro-Chancellor, Anant Soni; Dr. Harshvardhan, Dr. RS Tripathi, Deans Directors and faculty members from various branches, were present. It was the third function of its type entitled “students of the year Award” in which the students participated with full of enthusiasm, and made the programme a successful one..

A Guest lecture was organized in MBA Department, which was attended by almost all the students and faculty members of Management Studies. Dr. Kaushik Mukharjee, HoD (Business Studies) told that the Senior Manager of JP Cement Industries named SR Goswami came in University on Tuesday where he talked extensively about the Labour Law and Industrial Relations.

 On this occasion, one more Speaker named Mukesh Kumar, who handles the Accounts and Finance Department of JP Cement (Babupur), shared his knowledge on Profit & Loss accounts, and other topics related to the financial management. During the programme Pro-VC, Dr. Harshvardhan and Dr. Kaushik Mukharjee with all the faculty members of Business Studies, were present.
