“Huzaifa Sufian Siddiqui, a genius mining student of 2018 batch, has been selected by DCQ Management, a Malaysia based Consultancy Company, in a salary package of 6 (six) lakhs/annum”, informed the Training & Placement Department of AKS University. Selection of Huzaifa is being taken as a great achievement for the University as it has proved its supremacy and high academic standard in international arena as well.

  “Now, AKS University, by producing substantial results in terms of research development, seems to be the first choice for the foreign companies as well”, said Er. Anant Soni, the Pro-Chancellor of AKS University. Student has been congratulated by the staff members, with wishes to get success in all his future endeavors as well.

AKS University has continued to maintain its chain of campus drives by inviting the companies of national and international level. In this sequence, Byju’s-the Learning App came here on Saturday, which witnessed the huge participation of students from Engineering and Management faculties.

 Informing in this regard, Director Training & Placement told that the students will be brought under scanner to occupy the position of Business Development Associate in the company. Selection process will have three layers, which will include GD, Written Test and Personal Interview.

“Selection process is still in progress, and it remains to be seen how many students will be able to bear the fruit of the drive” said Director, Training & Placement by wishing “All the best” to the students.

“With an objective to gain the knowledge of open cast mining, three students of final year (mining) will be visiting Thailand”, informed Dr. Gk Pradhan on Friday. Students named B. Chankya, Vijay Kumar and Utkarsh Jain, are set to be there in Thailand where they are scheduled to visit Lignite open cast mining, situated in Lapang Province of the country. Also, the visit will help the students in strengthening their knowledge related to light production, distribution and other functioning of open cast mining.

 “It will be a ten days visit which will help the students in acquiring knowledge about Eget, Memo, water protection and conservation”, told  Dr. Pradhan adding that the foreign visit like this, will enhance the knowledge of students regarding the assessment and management of the environment.

 Notably, four students have been to Thailand in year 2018 as well, where they had been thoroughly informed about the lignite mines of Lapang province. During the current visit, students will be accompanied and guided by S.Das Gupta, one of the faculty members from mining department of AKS University.

“Vocational Training, in various prestigious institutions of India, has been arranged for the 800 students of Mining Engineering. Approximately 300 mining students (B.Tech & Diploma) have been sent to underground mines, situated in areas like Umariya, Johila, Sohagpur, Kusmunda, Jewara, Jamuna, Bijuree, Anup Pur and Kotma. With an objective to refine their skills, students are receiving 28 days vocational training, which will help them to learn the practical aspect of their class room learning. Students, thus trained, will get shaped up as per the requirement of the industries”, told Director (T&P) of AKS University.

Speaking on the performance of the students, GK Pradhan (Dean, Engineering) told that the success of the students in recent past, has been the result of the excellent educational environment of AKS University. Quality education paves the way for the quality job, and this is evident through the list of students employed in various reputed organizations of India and abroad. Till date, 300 students of AKS University have passed the gas testing examination conducted by DGMS. Notably, AKS University is an authorized center for the Gas Testing Examination, and has conducted the exams many times in recent past.

Er. Anant Soni, Pro-Chancellor, AKSU, was in Delhi last week, where he participated in a conference, which had been organized by Center for Education Growth and Research. While attending the conference, he called on the representatives of various Universities and institutions, and explored the ways to elevate the academic excellence of the students. Pro-Chancellor, under the programme named Academiya-Academiya Collaboration, signed MoUs with 16 different Universities and educational institutions.

As it is well known, Er. Anant Soni has always been raising the voice in favour of Academiya-Academiya collaboration among the educational institutions. First time it was observed that the Universities and other educational institutions came together in such a large number, signed MoUs, and built up the consensus on various issues. MoUs, thus signed, will pave the way for AKS students to carry out their research works in various institutions of national and international level.
