A Blood Donation Camp was organized in AKS University on Saturday, in which 35 students from various faculties participated, and donated their blood for a noble cause. Dr. Srikrishna Maheshwari, the Chairman of Birla hospital, who was present at the venue, discussed about the significance of blood donation and said, “There is the least difference between the donation of blood and the donation of body organs, as it helps others to live again, in this wonderful Universe.”

Other dignitaries, who made their presence in programme include Pro-Chancellor, Anant Soni; Director, Amit Soni; Co-ordinator-Rashtriya Seva Yojana, Dr. Mahendra Tiwari; Dr. Deepak Mishra,Dr. NP Tiwari, Jagrati Kapoor and Dr. Harishankar Mishra. All the dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the donators, and motivated them to be compassionate for the patients, in the same way, in future as well.

Students once again brought laurels to AKS University by securing second rank in “Annual Technical Fest -2019 (Megalith)” organized recently in IIT, Kharagpur. “Civil Engineering (B.Tech sixth semester) students participated in the event, which was held between 8^th to 10^th March”,  told Management (AKSU) adding that the students  secured prestigious  position competing with 1000  students came from approximately hundred plus top institutions of India. Names of the winning students are: Shubhanshu Tripathi, Akshay Raut, Akhil Gupta, Sandeep Ahirwar, and Vaibhav Patel.  Management (AKSU) has congratulated to students for their outstanding performance in an event like this.

Er. Anant Soni, the Pro-Chancellor of AKS University, received the “Best Innovative University in MP-2019 Award” at the hands of Chief Minister (MP) Kamalnath, at a function organized in capital Bhopal, on Wednesday. The function had been organized at the Noor-e-Shaba Hotel, Bhopal, where AKS University won the prestigious award on the basis of innovative approaches, it has adopted while imparting technical and professional education to students.

  Felicitation ceremony saw the presence of the top ministers of MP like Kamleshwar Patel (Rural Development Minister), Sachin Yadav (Agriculture Minister), Jeetu Patwari and Shobha Ojha, who, alongwith Chief Minister, gave a big round of applause to Pro-Chancellor (AKSU),when he took the Award into  his hands.

 The Award has once again proved the supremacy of AKS University, which is completely dedicated to the educational upliftment of the students. Notably, AKS University has been felicitated in the same fashion, in past also, when it was recognized for its efforts in giving quality education. The winning moment like this, has spread a “wave of joy” among the staff members, and has encouraged them to get charged for the future.

Dean Engineering, Dr.GK Pradhan was in Kualalumpur (Malaysia) last week where he shared quite relevant information on “Underground Blasting” with the Mining professionals present over there. Dr. Pradhan, who is the National Geo-Science Awardee, participated in a programme, held under the supervision of “Academy of Curie Management Department of Mineral Geo-Science” situated there in Malaysia.

 Dr. Pradhan, during his speech, discussed the contents related to Drilling, its Process, Explosive  and Blasting, Blast Design, Soft Sicking, Tunneling, Raising and Stopping, Safety in Blasting operation, and the Environmental impact of blasting.

 Earlier, the programme started with the inaugural speech of Dr. KF Lee, who welcomed Dr. Pradhan by terming his visit as the “Visit of a Mining Scholar”. Dr Pradhan, keeping in view the interest of AKS University, signed “MoU” with Institute of Curie Management, which will open the “Doors of learning” for the students of AKS University, in Malaysia.

AKS University got one more feather in its cap when it was awarded as the “Best University in central India award-2019”, in a grand function organized in New Delhi, on Wednesday. Ajay Soni, Director, AKSU, collected the prestigious award at the hands of Shaziya Ilmi, the leader of ruling BJP. AKS University, which has been felicitated in the same fashion, in past also, has been putting efforts to achieve academic excellence in field of professional and technical education.

  “The function had been organized under the supervision of Integrated Chambers of Commerce and Industries, New Delhi, which witnessed the presence of the dignitaries, invited from all over India”, informed University sources. On this achievement, AKS University is being applauded by all the sections of society, with an expectation that it would continue with its efforts to achieve the academic excellence in future as well.
