Vocational Training for the Mining students of AKS University

“Vocational Training, in various prestigious institutions of India, has been arranged for the 800 students of Mining Engineering. Approximately 300 mining students (B.Tech & Diploma) have been sent to underground mines, situated in areas like Umariya, Johila, Sohagpur, Kusmunda, Jewara, Jamuna, Bijuree, Anup Pur and Kotma. With an objective to refine their skills, students are receiving 28 days vocational training, which will help them to learn the practical aspect of their class room learning. Students, thus trained, will get shaped up as per the requirement of the industries”, told Director (T&P) of AKS University.
Speaking on the performance of the students, GK Pradhan (Dean, Engineering) told that the success of the students in recent past, has been the result of the excellent educational environment of AKS University. Quality education paves the way for the quality job, and this is evident through the list of students employed in various reputed organizations of India and abroad. Till date, 300 students of AKS University have passed the gas testing examination conducted by DGMS. Notably, AKS University is an authorized center for the Gas Testing Examination, and has conducted the exams many times in recent past.
