In order to create awareness among the students, the schools of Satna and its adjacent areas, prefer AKS University for the educational visit of their students where they get adequate career counseling to streamline their career. The example of  “Learning through enquiry”  was best demonstrated  when 300 students from Government Excellence Higher Secondary school, Maihar and Government Higher Secondary School, Rampur Baghelan, visited AKS University and participated in Career counseling  programme organized in central hall of AKS University on Wednesday. During the visit, students were taken almost all the departments of AKS University where they got to see the functioning and teaching methodology being adopted by the faculty members of the University. Students visited Central library, CCTV room, Academic blocks and a number of Labs, operationalised in Biotech, Pharmacy and Computer science department of AKS University. Interacting with students, Amit Soni, the Director (AKSU) said:  “Information Technology is now a rejuvenated field where thousands of job opportunities are available for the computer professionals.” On this occasion, Er. RK Shrivastava, GP Richhariya, Akhilesh A Waoo, Vinay Shrivastava and Viren Tiwari were present to answer the queries of the students.  Giving the feedback about the visit students said they are now well informed about various academic fields which they can select as per their knowledge and skills.

Dr. Harshvardhan Shrivastava, Pro- VC, AKS University, departed for #London on thirty days official visit, which will start from 18th September onwards.  Briefing about the visit, Dr. Harshvardhan told, “Visit is aimed at holding meetings with Academicians and Research Scholars, working in top Universities of United Kingdom, also to observe the innovative approaches being adopted by them to ensure the holistic development of the students.”  He said he would carry out the feasibility analysis of new ideas and approaches, to explore whether these could be implemented in AKS University or not.  Notably, the visit of Pro-VC is being termed “crucial” at a time when Ministry of HRD has proposed to introduce a New Education Policy for all the Universities of the country. Vice-Chancellor, PK Banik; Pro-Chancellor, Anant Soni; Dr. RS Tripathi and Dr. RN Tripathi, have wished  “All the best” to Dr. Harshvardhan, with expectation that the  visit  would give new dimension to the  “#Innovative_approaches  of AKS University.

Dr. Ashwini A Waoo, the Associate Professor in Biotechnology Department of AKS University, participated in First International Scientist and Medicine Programme, where she was given Women Researcher Award, among the esteemed presence of scholars and experts, came from top institutions of the country.  Notably, the programme had been organized under the aegis of Engineering Science and Medicine, where the working professionals from VD Good Professional Association, were also present. Pro-Chancellor, Anant Soni; Chancellor, PK Banik and the staff members of AKS University, have congratulated Mrs Waoo for her achievement.

Faculty members and the students of Environmental Science celebrated the “#Ozone Divasorganized at the auditorium of AKS University, on Monday. Addressing to students on the occasion, Neeladri Shekhar, the faculty member, threw lights on the importance of Ozone layer, and said that the gases like chlorofluro carbon, have been thoroughly responsible for the gradual deterioration of Ozone layer, another reason, he revealed, was Deforestation in larger scale”, which could be held responsible for the development of massive holes in Ozone layer.Endorsing the points of Neeladri Shekhar, Suman Patel, the faculty member, said: “If the ozone layer gets thinner, larger doses of harmful ultraviolet radiation reach the earth’s surface, which are responsible for one of the deadliest deseases like cancer, so, the serious matter like this, needs to be addressed in priority.” The programme was attended by almost all the faculty members and the students of Environmental Science Department.

Engineering Department of AKS University celebrated the #Engineers Day on 15th of September to pay tribute to Dr. Mokshagundam Vishvashwaraiya, who dedicated his life for the technological upliftment of the country.  Programme began with “offering of flowers” on the large portrait of “Greatest Engineer”, which was followed by the series of lectures, delivered to commemorate the contribution of “Legendary Engineer”. Programme included “certain plays” which were quite informative, and were appreciated by audience with big round of applause.  In one of the plays, people were told about the ways regarding the conservation of energy. Second play appraised the audience about the safety measures, need to be taken, when the fire breaks out. The third play communicated the various methods to save us from electrocution. An event named Poster Presentation was also organized, which was won by Sudheer Chaudhari while Abhishek Mahto and Rohit Maskole secured second and third position respectively. On this occasion, almost all the faculty members from Department Engineering & Technology were present.
