With a view to uplift the employability level of students, an English Club has been set up in AKS University. P.K. Banik, Vice chancellor, AKSU inaugurated it among the esteem presence of Chairman A.K. Soni, Pro VC Dr. R.S. Tripathi, Pro VC Dr. Harshvardhan, Deans, Directors and HODs of all the departments. Informing about the English Club SSD Trainer, Rajneesh Tiwari told that the objective of launching English Club is to ensure the comprehensive development of students and to enhance their English communication skills so that they may compete in corporate world. Speaking about the club SSD Trainer Amarpreet Saluja said that the Club would facilitate an English environment to students through various activities such as group discussion, personal interview and public speech to enhance English communication skills and overall personality development of the students.    

Six days National Workshop on the topic “Recent Trends in Scientific Instrumentation With Skill Innovation & Skill Employability” is being organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology from 06.05.2016 to 11.05.2016 in AKS University. Informing about the Workshop Dr. S.P. Gupta, HOD, Pharmacy told that during the Workshop, the subject specialists will deliver lectures on the above mentioned topic and impart the “Hand on Training” to students. Informing further Dr. Gupta told that the workshop has been funded by M.P. Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal and exclusively associated with Chromatography Society of India, Mumbai & PG Tech Research Institute, Indore.   

10 Agriculture students were selected for “Product Promoter” post

Ankur seeds, a Nagpur based private limited company organized a campus drive in AKSU on wednesday. Crossing all the steps of the drive, 10 students namely Arvind Pandey, Tarun Sahu, Avadhesh Tripathi, Hemant Verma, Sanjay Singh, Subhas Kushwaha, Bhupendra Singh, Ashutosh Mishra, Pavan Kumar Verma, Lavkesh Soni were selected. Informing about the drive T&P Head M.K. Pandey told that the selected students will get salary package of 2 lacks/anum. AKS Chancellor B.P. Soni, Vice chancellor Paritosh K. Banik, Chairman Anant Kumar Soni, Pro V.C. Dr. Harshvardhan, Dr. R.S. Tripathi, Professor R.N. Tripathi and Balendra Vishwakarma congratulated the students on their achievements.

“Industry Institution Interaction” programme was organized at the auditorium of AKS University on Wednesday which was attended by many senior executives belonging to various corporate houses of the region. On this occasion D.N. Swain, Senior President, Prism Cement addressed the students and shared his vast industrial experience with students. In his address Dr. Swain suggested that universities should frame the syllabus in accordance with the needs of the industries. Offering valuable suggestions to students Dr. Swain said that the students should groom and prepare themselves as per the demand of the industries. Sharing the dais R.C. Yadav, HR Manager Prism Cement said that the self inspiration plays a vital role in completion of any task. During his address he urged the students to motivate themselves and added that it is the self motivation which is instrumental in realizing the vision. On this occasion A.K. Dubey, Principal, Prism School, Rashmi Pandey, PGT Chemistry, Prism School, Pro VC Dr. Harshvardhan, Pro VC Dr. R.S. Tripathi, Dr. G.K. Pradhan and a large number of students were present. At the end of the function Engineer Anant Soni, Chairman AKS University extended the “Vote of thanks”. The function was anchored and directed by Balendra Tripathi and M.K. Pandey, Director T&P, Adarsh Singh, Manoj Singh contributed actively to make the programme a successful one.
