With the passage of time, the reputation of AKS University has crossed the national and international boundaries, as it is evident through the invitation received by students from Malaysia to participate in international conference, which will be held on 31^st of October, 2017. Two students, named Pramod Dwivedi and Shubham Kumar, final year Mining students, will participate in two days conference, indoor and outdoor exhibition to be held on topic Fusion of Technology towards Profitable Querying. During the visit, students will be accompanied by Dr.GK Pradhan, Dean, Engineering and Technology, AKS University, who will present his technical paper on the topic Cost Effective Strategies Rock Blasting Technology in front of other international participants and dignitaries. On this maiden visit of students, AKS Management and staff members have congratulated the students, and wished them all the best for their successful participation.

Students of AKS University paid a maiden visit to office of Women Empowerment, and received the valuable information over there. During the visit, students were extensively informed about the various welfare schemes launched by government, and their implementation. The officers posted there named Rajesh Bangre, Shashi Bala, Amartya Sen, and Snehlata apprised the students about the various government schemes such as Lado Abhiyan, Ladlee Laxmee Yojna, and Swagtam Ladlee Laxmi Yojna, and their benefits.In next segment of visit, the students met Snehlata, another official posted there, who told them about the concept of One Stop Center, which has been set up by government, to provide the shelter and basic amenities to women, and to help them both socially and financially. Shashi Bala, one of the another officials told the students that women empowerment is one of the dream projects of government, which helps in their education,training, and providing employment opportunities to them, so that they may work for their subsistence, and could secure a respectful position in society.

Following the directions of Women Affairs Ministry, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao week was celebrated in Satna, in which various programmes were organized. The function was inaugurated on 09/10/2017, and the students of AKS University participated actively in it. On dated 11/10/2017, the students of AKS University came out in a procession in Shergaunj village, which was directed by faculty members of AKS University named Rainy Nigam, Dr. S P Gupta, Akhilesh A Waoo and Dr.Deepak Mishra. On dated 12/10/2017, activities like Debate on Current Affairs, Essay, Poster, Slogan and Nukkad Natak competitions were organized, in which students of AKS University participated with all zeal and enthusiasm, and their performance was appreciated by everyone. On the closing ceremony of the function, the results were declared, where AKS University secured the second position. Management of AKS University congratulated the students for their success.

Following the tradition of University, senior students of Biotech department threw a grand party for the new coming students of first semester. And it was the right moment for the students to showcase the colours of their talent, and they did not seem to be ready to miss the opportunity as they mesmerized the people through their rocking performance in singing, dancing and music.  Western music and Panjabi nagada forced the students and spectators to move their feet and waist, synchronizing with music while the anchors entertained the people through their anchoring which was fully associated with Shero-shayari. Also, it was an appropriate moment for first year students to have interaction with their seniors. Chairman Er. Anant Kumar Soni extended his best wishes to new coming students for their upcoming academic career in AKS University.

Civil Engineering students of AKS University paid one day industrial visit to Prism Cement industry, Situated in Mankahri, Satna. 29 students of Diploma and B.Tech visited the industry to learn the various intricacies of Cement Production. The Experts from industry apprised the students about the various aspects of cement production such as cement manufacturing, cement processing and testing. Students of AKS University were guided by N C Sharma, who is the HR Manager of Prism Cement Factory, while the faculty members of AKS University named G.K. Pradhan, Shivani Garg, Vishutosh Vajpai and Satish Kumar were along with students to guide them during the visit.
