Within a shorter span of time of its establishment, AKSU has got the privilege to become the member of “Association of Indian Universities”. As it is well known that the “Association of Indian universities” was set up in year 1925 with an objective to encourage the mutual co-operation among the universities regarding education, culture, games and various other activities. The Association of Indian universities include all the central universities, private universities and deemed universities.

The “Association of Indian universities” publishes various journals and annual magazines which are the sources of sharing activities among the universities pertaining to education, culture and research works. The inclusion of AKSU will give a new dimension to its efforts of being a university which is constantly involved to uplift the level of higher education in the country, moreover AKSU will yield the benefit of exchanging knowledge, thoughts, skills and new researches among various top universities of the country. Besides this, the AKSU students will be able to access the new platforms to compete and showcase their knowledge and skills in national and international arena. An international journal has given the space to Research Paper of three faculty members of AKS University. Prakash Kumar Sen, Sheenu Shukla and Shweta Singh all from Management Faculty of AKSU participated in an international conference held in kota on Tuesday. Informing about his Research Paper Prakash Kumar Sen told that the title of his Research Paper was “Factors affecting the motivation of employees”, it enumerates the factors which have the impact on the functioning of employees. Speaking about her Research Paper Sheenu Shukla told that her topic “Work life balance among selected working women at AKSU” reflects as to how working women can establish the co-ordination between their professional life and personal life. The topic of Shweta Singh was “Financial infusion awareness among working women in Satna” which reflects about awareness of women regarding products and services given by various public & private sector banks. 

Sanjay Shukla, pharmacy student of Rajiv Gandhi Institute affiliated to RGPV, Bhopal has been selected for the Chancellor Scholarship Award- 2014. Interestingly, Sanjay has been selected for the same award in year 2013 also. As it is well known that this award has its own significance because the students from all the colleges of M.P. are brought under scanner on the basis of their performance and then the merit list is prepared for this prestigious award. On this achievement of student, the RGI management has congratulated him and extended best wishes for his bright future. 

AKS University was felicitated with “Excellent University in Rural Area Award – 2016” during a function organized by National MP Education Summit in RGPV Bhopal for its remarkable performance in education field. The award was received by AKSU Directors Amit Kumar Soni and Ajay Kumar Soni. The function was presided over by MP Governor Ram Naresh Yadav. Amit Kumar Soni, Director, AKSU said that the AKSU has received this prestigious award for its excellent performance in imparting quality education as well as for its innovative approach in Research & Development. B.Ed Entrance Test for the admission in B.Ed course of AKSU for the session 2016-18 will be held on 08/05/2016 (Sunday). Talking about the Entrance Test Dr. R.S. Mishra, HOD Education, AKSU told that the date for B.Ed Entrance Test has been finalized and the test will commence from 12:15 PM on 08/05/2016 (Sunday). Informing further Dr. Mishra said that students will be selected on the basis of their position in merit list. As it is well known that the B.Ed course run by AKS University has been approved by NCTE and has been duly recognized by M.P. Government. Candidates who  have scored minimum 50% marks in graduation or post graduation (for general category) and minimum 45% marks in graduation  or post graduation (for SC/St category) will be eligible to appear in Entrance Test. KYP INFRA, a Noida based company organized a campus drive in AKS University. Students from various streams such as B.tech. Diploma and Management participated in drive and enthralled the interviewers with their powerful performance. Company selected 44 students and offered the post of Trainee Engineer to B.tech and Management students and Junior Trainee Engineer to diploma students. Informing about the drive T&P Head M.K. Pandey told that B.tech. and Management students have been offered a salary package of 2.4 lacks/anum and diploma students have been offered 1.4 lacks/anum. On this achievement of students Chancellor B.P. Soni, V.C. Paritosh Banik, Pro. V.C. Dr. Harshwardhan, Chairman Anant Soni appreciated the students and extended their best wishes for their bright future. 

Commerce department of AKS University organized a seminar here on thursday. Prof. Paritosh Banik Vice-Chancellor, AKSU presided over the function and lit the lamp to inaugurate the seminar Prashant Jain, Company Secretary was the guest speaker of the seminar. On this occasion he threw light on the START-UP project initiated by Prime minister Narendra Modi, he also shared information about entrepreneurship, e-commerce. Vipul Sharma, faculty member, B.Com (CSP) conducted the proceedings of the Seminar and highlighted the changes taking place in global economy. At the end of seminar Q/A session was organized and the speakers answered the queries of students. 

As a major initiative to applaud the students for their outstanding academic performance, AKS University has launched “Chancellor Scholarship Scheme” from January, 2016. In presence of dignitaries a function was organized in auditorium to distribute the scholarship to talented and high-performing students. 97 (ninety seven) students received the scholarship and resoluted to continue with their awe inspiring performance to motivate other students as well. The scholarship scheme has not only given opportunity to students to get the recognition for their academic achievements but also benefitted them in monetary terms. During the function Vice-Chancellor Paritosh Banik, Pro. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Harshvardhan, OSD Prof. R.N. Tripathi, Director Avaneesh Soni and students in large number were present.

Oram Finance Services, Indore based finance company conducted a placement drive in AKSU on tuesday in which 37 students were selected. Students from MBA, BBA, BCA, B.Com and B.Sc. participated in drive. M.K. Pandey, Director T&P told that the students were selected on the basis of their performance in group discussion and personal interview.
