With a view to up rise the quality education and inculcate research aptitude in students, AKSU has launched the Ph.D. Programme on thursday. In this occasion AKSU Chancellor Shri B.P. Soni said that it is vital and important to encourage research aptitude among the students, he said that innovative research work plays a major role in sustaining the quality of education and benefits the society as a whole. Sharing the dias Vice-Chancellor Dr. Paritosh Banik said that the students are required to be involved in their research work with full of dedication. In his address AKSU Chairman Engineer Anant Soni said that it would be his responsibility to ensure all required facilities to students in their research works, he further added that this effort of AKS university will give chance to not only upcoming talents from the area but also give platform to national and international talents, and this would be our real achievement. Laying the emphasis on the research objectives and its various dimensions Pro V.C. Dr. Harshwardhan said that the research scholars need to maintain the quality of their research work. The induction programme was anchored and directed by Professor R.N. Tripathi and vote of thanks was extended by Engineer R.K. Shrivastava. On this occasion, all directors, deans, department heads and students were present.

Agriculture students of AKS University organized the “Literacy Week” in Devra Village of Sohawal Block with the objective to create literacy awareness among the villagers, the students met the parents and appealed them to send their children to school. The efforts of AKS students resulted into the increase in number of presence of students in schools. Besides this, the AKSU students carried out the survey of entire village and apprised the villagers about the benefits of cleanliness and agricultural insurance. Villagers were suggested to attend the Gram-Sabha in regular intervals for the quick solution of their problems. During the entire programme AKSU students received the valuable support from the village head, secretaries and villagers. Arzoo Bano, Chitralekha Singh, Deepshikha, Monika Soni, Meenal Dubey, Priyanka Pandey, Puja Patel, Parul, Rani, Shilpi, Saroj, Shailu, Seema and Pronita Mandal were the part of programme.
Hand writing competition was organized in AKS University on Monday. 450 students participated in this competition to showcase their writing skill. Hand writing Expert Mr. Anil Kushwaha told that the aim of holding competition was to improve the hand writing of students and to refine their written presentation.
When it comes to provide the placement to students in reputed companies, the AKS University’s record has been unchallenged in this region. “Scope Telecom” a Chandigrah based company has given its affirmative nod to organize campus drive in AKSU. T&P head Mr. M.K. Pandey told that campus will be held for diploma and B.tech students of Electrical Engineering. The company will offer the post of Junior and Graduate Engineer to students.
