Fourty (40) Pharmacy students of AKS University paid an industrial visit to @Deen_Dayal_Shodh_Sansthan situated in Chitrakoot Block of Uttarpradesh. Notably, the industrial visit like this, has been the part of curriculum, designed especially for the of 5th semester students of AKS University. During the visit, students got to see 16 varieties of cows, sheltering in a large Gaushala (Cowshed) of Deen Dayal Sansthan. Students were taken to some other processing units as well, where Chyavanrash manufacturing and instrumental laboratories were operationalzed. Students, during the visit, were guided by Neha Goel and Ankur Agrawal while Manoj Tripathi (Lab Manager) helped them in understanding the instrumental functioning of laboratories.

Final year students of Agriculture science, along with their co-ordinator Satwik Bisariya, visited the Ahirgaon and Bhad Villages, and organized a “Kisan Sangosthi” to sort out the problems of the farmers. The AKS delegation, which included well informed Professors named Dr. Doomar Singh, Dr. Bhumanand and Ayodhya Prasad Pandey, had the discussion with farmers and informed them about the recent scientific developments taking place in field of agriculture science. During the discussion, local farmers were told about the importance of organic farming and were informed about the methods, which if implemented, would increase their agricultural production. The farmers were advised to make the optimum utilization of local resources to meet the nutritious demand of the crop. Also, the farmers were told about the importance of Nakshatra (Stars) to receive the better outcome in production. The lectures were followed by the Q/A session, where the problems of the farmers were attentively listened and addressed by the AKS experts.
An International Conference was held in Bangkok (Thailand), where AKS University received “Most Innovative Prestigious Private University Award” for its contribution to the field Pharmaceutical Science. Dr. Surya Prakash Gupta (Principal, Pharmacy), who received the prestigious award on behalf of AKS University, told that the conference had been organized under the aegis of Society of Pharmaceutical Research and Education between 3rd and 4th of October, on the topic “Fostering Pharmaceutical Innovation to bridge the gap in Pharmaceutical Research and Industries”. “The platform has given the opportunity to our students named Shikha Singh and Roshani Tiwari, to deliver their research papers.”, added Dr. Gupta, who was given Innovative Researcher Award-2019 for his innovative research works in pharmacy. All the staff members have expressed pleasure on this achievement of AKS University.
“AKS Students were felicitated during Forest Conservation Week, celebrated at National Park in Bhopal”, informed Dr. Mahendra Kumar Tiwari, who guided the AKS students during the recently concluded weekly programme. AKS students made the participation in various events like Heritage and Question Hours where they shocked the opponents through their awestruck performance. Students named Anurag Chaturvedi, Prashant Sharma, Rajkishore and Asutosh Singh stole the show and received big round of applause from the audience, though they had to be contented with second rank. At the end, all the participants, came from 16 divisions of MP, were given trophies, mementoes and certificates by Umang Singhar, the Honorable Forest Minister of MP. Management (AKSU) has congratulated the students for their outstanding performance.
Indian Mining and Engineering Journal, Bhubaneswar, organized two days National Seminar on 21st and 22nd of September, in Hosa peté, Karnataka, where AKS University participated as a “Knowledge Partner” for the institutions. An Award function titled “The IME Journal Annual Award” was also organized in the same venue which was attended by the dignitaries came from the top institutions of the country. Keynote speakers, during the seminar, presented their views on the topic Mining and Processing of Raw Materials for steel, cement and Power, while AKS University also made its presence felt by sharing substantial views on the topic.Earlier, the function was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Director, Steel Research and Technology Mission of India, in presence of Er. Anant Soni, who had been invited as “Special Guest” for the seminar. Professor S Jayantu, through his excellent welcome speech, greeted the guests while K Gyaneshwar read the message of Vijay Kumar, DGMS, which contained the information regarding the inclusion of forty scientific and technical papers in the journal ofIndian mining and Engineering. Taking note on AKS University, it was informed that the laboratories operationalised in AKS University are well equipped, and approximately 10,000 students are enrolled to carry out the studies in 55 courses, running in AKS University.Speaking on the occasion, PK Banik (VC, AKSU) apprised the audience about the contribution of AKS University to the Mining industries; also he presented a blueprint containing the futuristic progressive approach of AKS University. He said, “The courses (55) running in AKS University, have been designed to impart quality education to the students, 25 competent mining faculty members are working day in and day out to give competent Mining Engineers to the mining industries of the country.
