Er. Anant Soni, Chairman (AKSU); Miss Hiba, and Sri Lokesh participated in an interactive session held in AKS University. It was a spiritual development session, which was based on the life and Darshan of renowned thinker and author Acharya Prashant. The programme held at the central hall of University where the students belonging to various departments received the knowledge pertaining to their “spiritual progress”. The programme was aimed to give a positive direction to young students so that they could apply the repository of energy in progress of their social, personal, professional and spiritual life

The all India conference, co-sponsored by AKS University and MAPCAST, concluded on Tuesday, with the speeches of keynote speakers, who carried out the brain storming on “Energy Efficient Smart Grid for Solving Burning Problems of Power System Stability in Country and Promoting Renewable Source of Energy”.
The Chief Guest, SP Das, Professor, IIT Kanpur shared his views on ‘Micro grid’ while NP Singhai, GM, Prism Cement pointed out the ‘Electricity problems being faced by industries’, Dr. P Singh shared the information on ‘optimization technique’ and Er. RN Soni, SE, MPSEB, Indore briefed on ‘Prevention of Electricity Theft’, where as Professor RK Nema took the note on ‘Advancement of Solar Energy Technique’.
In conference, approximately 25 research papers, belonging to various parts of MP, were presented, which were appreciated by the intellectual audience. At the end, the guests were honored with mementoes, while the ‘vote of thanks’ was proposed by Dr. RK Shrivastava.
An “Induction Programme” for the students of B.Tech & M.Tech (cement, mining, electrical and civil engineering) held at the central hall of AKS University where students were apprised about the rules, regulations, help desk, and many other information related to University. The programme started with the lighting of lamp and recital of saraswati vandana. Addressing to new coming students, the invited guests told that all the streams of engineering are awesome, and if students remain focused on studies following the teaching standard fixed by the University, then no power in world can stop them in realization of their dreams.

The students at AKS University with all faculty members celebrated the 72nd Independence Day on August 15, 2018. The event marked its beginning with the flag hoisting done by the Chancellor BP Soni with the recital of National Anthem. Chancellor congratulated to gatherings on this auspicious occasion while other guests, through their speeches, tried to boost and spread the spirits of national integrity and patriotism. At the jam-packed auditorium of University many cultural programmes were celebrated which instilled the strong feeling of patriotism within the people present there
AKS University is set to organize “all India essay competition” in its campus. Informing about it, Management (AKSU) told: in joint supervision of United Nation Information Center, India, Bhutan, Sriram Chandra Mission and Hard fullness Education, the competition is to be held on the topic “mind logic is like a knife all blade. It makes the hand bleed that uses it (Rabindra Nath Tagore)”.
The participants will be given a limit of 750 words, and they will be allowed to use the languages like Hindi, English, Bangalee, Gujrati, Kannad, Malyalam, Marathi, Udiya, Tamil and Telugu for writing the essay
The students of AKS University will now be able to participate in national level competitions, which are going to be commenced from January, 2018. The students of University will now directly participate in “National University Games”, which are expected to be held in next year. Unlike past, when students had to go through the district, Zonal, divisional and state level competitions before participating in national games, now they can get direct entry if they prove their talent in University level games.
Informing further, Management (AKSU) told, AKS University, being an active member of the “Universities Association”, will now pave the way for its students to participate in national level games titled “Khelo India”, which will include 18 sports events.
Students, thus making the participation in national games, will enjoy extra weightage while applying for the government jobs. Management (AKSU) has advised the students to yield the maximum benefit of this opportunity.
A Guest Lecture on “Skill Development” was organized in Physics Department of AKS University, exclusively for the students of B.Sc (Math & CS), BBA and M.Sc. (Physics). Speaking on the occasion, keynote speaker, Amit Kumar Singh, the alumni of Grenoble Graduate School of Business, France; said that the ‘goal setting’ and ‘farsightedness in career selection’ play a significant role in career progress of the students. Also he shared his experience of working in various government schemes. As it is well known, Amit has rendered his contribution to various skill development programmes like: NDLM, PMG, DISHA, DDUGKY, and PMKY.
The second guest speaker Brajendra Semwal, who, in past, has been conferred the “Distinguished Service Award” for his contribution to Indian Army, and has been appreciated for his services to the companies like Wipro, Hinduja and Global Solution, gave a talk on various aspects of personality development, also he shared the guidelines needed in proper selection of Career Oriented Courses. Briefing on the ‘need of skill development programmes’, he stated that the skill development programmes are the weapons through which we can overpower the menace of unemployment.
Faculty Members, who made their presence during the lectures included, Dean, RN Tripathi; Dr. Neelesh Roy, Dr. OP Tripathi, Lovely Singh Gaharwar, Dr. Priyanka Kesharwani, Saket Kumar and Puneet Chaurasiya.
The industry oriented syllabus and excellent learning environment of University, have assisted the students in development of essential abilities needed to crack the interviews. Extending the series, AKS University, this time, invited Loesche India Private Limited for the drive, where the students from B.Tech (Cement) and B.Tech (Mechanical) participated with high spirits. HRs, through PPT Presentation, shared the information about the profile of company which was followed by the written test and personal interviews. Management (AKSU) has congratulated the students for their success in campus drive. Selected students will occupy the position of Process engineer, and Procure engineer in company. Members who rendered their contribution to entire placement programme included TPO, Balendra Vishwakarma; Prachi Mishra and Manoj Singh.
A six days workshop on Linux Administration, especially for the students of B.Tech (3rd 5th & 7th), MCA, BCA and B.Sc. (IT), was conducted at the Computer Science department of AKS University. On the first day, Vikas Naidu-Linex expert from Bengluru and Chandra Shekhar Sharma-Red Hat Certified Trainer from Jabalpur, discussed the introductory part of the Working of Linex and Server configuration, while the second day was used for the discussion on Linux command. Other topics which were discussed during the workshop are: automatic installation with kick start, getting help with man info and documentation, using Regular expressions with grape, creating and editing text files with VIM, User group administration, Linex permission, Managing Priorities of linex processes special permission, connecting to network, Defined Users and Groups, Adding Disks, Partitions and file system to linex system, Managing Remote Desktop using SSH, Network Security and LVM.

Industry oriented and well revised syllabus, designed especially for the students of AKS University, is one of the reasons of students selection in campus drives. The University with difference, which was ranked 27th by the India Today survey, organized yet another campus drive of Axis Bank which witnessed the huge participation of MBA students. The Drive began with the PPT presentation given by the HR Managers, and followed by the written and online test. At the end of the drive five students named Neeraj Kumar Dodani, Mahendra Pandey, Karishma Soni, Harshita Singh Baghel and Deeksha Singh, were selected on a salary package of 3.5 lacs/annum. Management (AKSU) congratulated the students for their achievement.
