A seminar on “Career Action Plan” will be organized in Department of Fashion Designing where speakers will share the information about the availability of jobs in this field.  Miss Nandita, a well known name in Fashion Designing, will be the Keynote speaker, and she is expected to convey the significant information on the “Growing job opportunities” in this field.  The seminar is going to be quite informative for the students and women, aspiring to shape up their career in this field. Students having the degrees like Higher Secondary, Graduation and Post graduation and also the House wives may get their names registered “Free of cost” for the seminar.

Thirty one Students from Basic Science and Food Tech department of AKS University participated in four days Tech Fest, which concluded in capital Bhopal on 20^th of October. TechFest got the name Singularity, which reflects the “Gravitation” existing at the center point of a Black Hole. The idea behind organizing the Tech Fest was to create the interest within students for science and technology. AKS students participated in many events like Domino effect, Thesis in a minute modal, Making Petrideaks Picaso, Bad and Hock Hypothesis, Singularity Quiz and Curve Ball, and stole the show through their exceptional performance. From AKS University, four teams participated, and team members justified their selection by giving awestruck performance. During the events, students were being guided by the faculty members named Saket Kumar and Firdaus Siddiqui, who were present at the venue to boost the morale and confidence of the students. In one of the events named Thesis in one minute, Virendra Pandey secured first position. In Thesis in one minute, participants were to speak like a research Scholer, and explain a thesis of approximately 500 pages, within a shorter span (Five minutes) of time. Akhilesh Tiwari and Maneesh Saho shocked everyone by winning the title in an event named optical communication. In Bad and Hock Hypothesis, the students from Food Tech named Aniruddh, Sachin, Vineeta and Anjali, under the guidance of Virendra Pandey, secured fourth position. Winners were congratulated by the Management (AKSU) for their outstanding performance.

An “Orientation Seminar” aimed at informing the students about Cambridge English Assessment Programme was organized in AKS University, on Saturday where Rakesh Kumar, The Keynote Speaker, conveyed basic information regarding the significance of Cambridge English Certification Course and its importance in uplifting the employability level of the students. Addressing the students in huge auditorium of AKS University, Professor Kumar said the Assessment programme like this, will help the students in sharpening their soft skills, and will transform them into good working professionals.  As it is well known, the English development programme like this, has been started here following the MoU signed by AKS University with Cambridge University, few months ago. Notably, the Cambridge English Assessment Course is an internationally recognized programme which will be run in AKS University by Rajneesh Tiwari and Sai Pratap Singh, who have been trained and duly certified by Cambridge University to prepare the students for the Examination.

Dr. Neelesh Rai, (HoD, Physics), has been conferred with “Bharat Shiksha Ratna Award”, at a “National Seminar” organized in capital Delhi, on Wednesday. The seminar had been organized to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on his 150th birth anniversary, where Neelesh was awarded for his excellent research works in Physics. Informing in this regard, Neelesh told that the seminar had been organized by Global Achievers Foundation and Iconic Achievers Foundation, a prestigious statutory body of the country, on the topic “Social and Economic Transformation through Non-Violence”. The seminar was attended by the dignitaries named: Dr. Prem Kumar Honorable Agriculture Minister of Bihar, Dr. Dr. VB Soni, Professor David, J Hilton and Professor Pretika. Management (AKSU) has congratulated Neelesh Rai for his achievement.

Students of AKS University participated in “Cross Country Race” organized by the Association of Indian Universities, on Monday. “The performance of AKS students has been exceptionally well as they had been trained adequately for the race”, said Sunil Pandey (Sports Officer), who has been guiding the students throughout the event.  In the event, 1380 students participated, where AKS University secured 85th position out of the participants of 230 Universities. Participants named Atul, Nadeem, Laluram, Sandeep, Sujeet, Bijju, Yadvendra, Md Imran and Gopal Gurjar won the heart of the people through their awesome performance. Management (AKSU) has congratulated the students for their performance.

Fourty (40) Pharmacy students of AKS University paid an industrial visit to @Deen_Dayal_Shodh_Sansthan situated in Chitrakoot Block of Uttarpradesh. Notably, the industrial visit like this, has been the part of curriculum, designed especially for the of 5^th semester students of AKS University. During the visit, students got to see 16 varieties of cows, sheltering in a large Gaushala (Cowshed) of Deen Dayal Sansthan.  Students were taken to some other processing units as well, where Chyavanrash manufacturing and instrumental laboratories were operationalzed.  Students, during the visit, were guided by Neha Goel and Ankur Agrawal while Manoj Tripathi (Lab Manager) helped them in understanding the instrumental functioning of laboratories.

Final year students of Agriculture science, along with their co-ordinator Satwik Bisariya, visited the Ahirgaon and Bhad Villages, and organized a “Kisan Sangosthi” to sort out the problems of the farmers. The AKS delegation, which included well informed Professors named Dr. Doomar Singh, Dr. Bhumanand and Ayodhya Prasad Pandey, had the discussion with farmers and informed them about the recent scientific developments taking place in field of agriculture science. During the discussion, local farmers were told about the importance of organic farming and were informed about the methods, which if implemented, would increase their agricultural production. The farmers were advised to make the optimum utilization of local resources to meet the nutritious demand of the crop. Also, the farmers were told about the importance of Nakshatra (Stars) to receive the better outcome in production. The lectures were followed by the Q/A session, where the problems of the farmers were attentively listened and addressed by the AKS experts.

An International Conference was held in Bangkok (Thailand), where AKS University received “Most Innovative Prestigious Private University Award” for its contribution to the field Pharmaceutical Science.  Dr. Surya Prakash Gupta (Principal, Pharmacy), who received the prestigious award on behalf of AKS University, told that the conference had been organized under the aegis of Society of Pharmaceutical Research and Education between 3^rd and 4^th of October, on the topic “Fostering Pharmaceutical Innovation to bridge the gap in Pharmaceutical Research and Industries”. “The platform has given the opportunity to our students named Shikha Singh and Roshani Tiwari, to deliver their research papers.”, added Dr. Gupta, who was given Innovative Researcher Award-2019 for his innovative research works in pharmacy. All the staff members have expressed pleasure on this achievement of AKS University.

“AKS Students were felicitated during Forest Conservation Week, celebrated at National Park in Bhopal”, informed Dr. Mahendra Kumar Tiwari, who guided the AKS students during the recently concluded weekly programme. AKS students made the participation in various events like Heritage and Question Hours where they shocked the opponents through their awestruck performance. Students named Anurag Chaturvedi, Prashant Sharma, Rajkishore and Asutosh Singh stole the show and received big round of applause from the audience, though they had to be contented with second rank.  At the end, all the participants, came from 16 divisions of MP, were given trophies, mementoes and certificates by Umang Singhar, the Honorable Forest Minister of MP. Management (AKSU) has congratulated the students for their outstanding performance.

Indian Mining and Engineering Journal, Bhubaneswar, organized two days National Seminar on 21^st and 22^nd of September, in Hosa peté, Karnataka, where AKS University participated as a “Knowledge Partner” for the institutions.  An Award function titled “The IME Journal Annual Award” was also organized in the same venue which was attended by the dignitaries came from the top institutions of the country. Keynote speakers, during the seminar, presented their views on the topic Mining and Processing of Raw Materials for steel, cement and Power, while AKS University also made its presence felt by sharing substantial views on the topic.Earlier, the function was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Mukesh Kumar, Director, Steel Research and Technology Mission of India, in presence of Er. Anant Soni, who had been invited as “Special Guest” for the seminar. Professor S Jayantu, through his excellent welcome speech, greeted the guests while K Gyaneshwar read the message of Vijay Kumar, DGMS, which contained the information regarding the inclusion of forty scientific and technical papers in the journal ofIndian mining and Engineering.  Taking note on AKS University, it was informed that the laboratories operationalised in AKS University are well equipped, and approximately 10,000 students are enrolled to carry out the studies in 55 courses, running in AKS University.Speaking on the occasion, PK Banik (VC, AKSU) apprised the audience about the contribution of AKS University to the Mining industries; also he presented a blueprint containing the futuristic progressive approach of AKS University. He said,  “The courses  (55)  running in AKS University,  have been designed to impart  quality education to the students, 25 competent mining faculty members are working day in  and day out  to give competent Mining Engineers to the mining industries of the country.
