Mechanical Engineering Department of AKS University organized a Guest Lecture for the students of B.Tech and Diploma Engineering which was delivered by Dr. Mukul (Professor, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad) on the topic 3D printing and ADTV Manufacturing. During his lecture, Dr. Mukul apprised the students about the significance of Mechanical Engineering. “The revolutionary changes being observed now a days in field of science and technology are the result of the significant contribution given by the Mechanical Engineering” he said. Imparting the knowledge to students about the 3D printing process Dr. Mukul told that the 3D Printing Process which is also known as Reverse Engineering makes it easier to manufacture various complicated parts in a shorter span of time. Lecture was followed by the Question & Answer session in which Dr. Mukul answered the queries of students. Dr. R.K. Shrivastava concluded the programme by extending the vote of thanks to all those dignitaries who made their presence.

Exim Infotech a Haryana based reputed infrastructure company organized a campus drive here on Tuesday in which 60 students of AKS University participated. Campus placement programme had been organized exclusively for the Civil Engineering students of both B.Tech and Diploma. Informing about it M.K. Pandey, Director T&P told that 3(three) students of AKS University were selected on the basis of their performance in Written Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview.  Informing further he said that the selected students will receive a salary package of Rs 2.40 Lacs/Anum. Names of the selected students are Anjalee Soni, Md. Naushad and Mohak Khare.

Electrical Engineering Department of AKS University organized a guest lecture on the topic Substation Single Line Diagram, which was delivered by Er. Gaurav Mishra. Gaurav Mishra, Engineer, Haryana Electricity Limited, delivered the lecture to 100 students of B.Tech and Diploma and conveyed the valuable technical knowledge to students. During his lecture Er. Mishra explained extensively the meaning and functioning of Transformer, Substation Protective Devices, Isolator, Circuit Breaker Relay, Current Transformer and Voltage Transformer.

Ashwini A Wao, Faculty Member from Bio-Technology department has been able to get the space in an International Journal on the topic “Evaluation of Fito Remediation poteneoyal of Dhatoora inaugsia with reference to fore Heavy Metals Radium LED, Nickel, and Chromium”. Informing about it, Dr. Aswini told that the name of international journal is Current Environment Engineering, a monthly Journal which is published by the Banthem Science Publishers, Beijing, China and research paper has been  published in volume 4 of January 2013 edition which has been uploaded in educational social networking sites as well. “The Research Paper is based on Biotechnology and Environment Bio-Technology which gives the biological remedy (treatment) to the polluted soil of industries” Dr. Aswini added.

Dr.Dhreendra Ojha and Dr. Sacchidanand, both from the Commerce Department of AKS University have been able to get their research papers published in an international journal named Scientific Progress and Research on the topic “Effect of Demonetization in India”. Informing about it, Dr. Ojha, Faculty Member from Commerce Department told that the international journal has given the space to their research papers in its January 17 edition. Informing further Dr. Ojha said that no part of our economy has been untouched with the impact of demonetization but its impact has been observed especially on banking sector, automobile sector and on real estate though the service sector is unaffected. “Demonetization will have the impact on our economy and will help in prevention of funding to terrorism, the net profit of banking sectors may slump down as the banks are required to pay the interest rate in fixed deposits” he added.
