Students of AKS University learnt about Regulatory submission in complex products. Regulatory matters ensure maintenance of marketing license - Mr. Pranav Pandya. Lecture by the Senior Manager of Sun Pharma in the program of Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology of AKS University.

University is such a center of education, where the aura of knowledge spreads continuously and the future of students is bright here.  In this episode, the academic pride of Vindhya region, AKS University has convened  a one day student knowledge - oriented massive webinar in the Department of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology.  The Opportunity for elaborate discussions on the subject issues gave enriching experiences as the programme was lectured by Mr. Pranav Pandya, Sr. Manager International Regulatory Affairs, Sun Pharmaceutical India Ltd. Vadodara. During the interaction, he explained to the participants that during the development stages pharmaceutical companies have to follow several strict rules and guidelines to ensure the safety and efficacy of the drug in view of  its application to human beings.  It acts as a link between the various departments in the company.  The regulatory submission consists of a series of documents set by a drug company to the health authorities as evidence of compliance. This includes several processes of drug development.  Along with that, after introducing the medical product into the market, it will be delivered to the customer in a phased process.  But there are many limits in it, there are provisions, terms and conditions which are mandatory to be followed by the regulatory body Mr.  Pranav Pandya said that regulatory matters ensure maintenance of marketing licenses which further lead to the lifecycle extension activities. The theme of the program was Overview of Regulatory Submission for Complex Products.  In view of the second phase of Covid 19, the lecture session was organized online.  On the pharmacy profession, he said that there is also a career in the field of pharmacy in regulatory matters.  It links ideal services to humanity. It is a life-saving field.  On staying positive and life lessons in the covid period, he also said that bad times will come and go, but we have to keep our thinking forward.  He gave subjective answers to questions on Regulatory Submission in Complex Formulation to the all online participants.  All the participants involved in the program, found the topic interesting, informative and knowledgeable.  Besides students of B. Pharmacy and D. Pharmacy, hundreds of students from various institutes participated in the Webinar.  All the information about the online program on Regulatory Submission in Complex Formulation was provided  by Dr.  Suryaprakash Gupta. He introduced the guests to the participants connected online.  Anant Kumar Soni, Pro-Chancellor, Dr.  Harsh Vardhan, Dr.  R.  S, Tripathi, Coordinator Prabhakar Tiwari and Ivneet Kaur Bhatia have expressed happiness over the success of the programme.  All participants shall be provided with a digitally signed online certificate of participation.
