“Kaushal Setu” a Skill Development Programme to be organized in AKS University

Food Technology Department of AKS University is set to organize a four days Kaushal Setu Skill Development Programme exclusively for the students of 2nd year and 3rd year. As it is well known, the training programme will be organized in a joint supervision of AKS University and a Bhopal based organization named Khushi Samajsevi Shiksha Prasar Samiti. The main objective of training programme is to impart training to students on Beverage, Bakery and Confectionery technology.  As far as Beverage training is concerned, the students will be trained exclusively on Alchohal, Soya Milk and Soya Paneer, where Bakery is concerned, students will be trained on preparation of various Bakery items like bread, cookies, Brawny, upside down pineapple,keromal clustered, walnut pie, backed cheese cake, baked progart, pumpkin. Training in confectionery technology will include the preparation of sugar candy, Toffee and chocklet. Members of Khushi Samajsevi Sanstha named Hemant Roy-Joint secretary and Sandhya Bhagat- Secretary will actively take part in training programme. The training programme will be organized under the guidance of Dr. C.K. Techchandani-Director, Food Technology, Dr. Rajesh Mishra-HOD and Snehal Singh- Faculty member from Food Technology Department of AKS University.
