Engineering Dean(AKSU) Presents Research Paper in Thailand

Extending the series, Dr. GK Pradhan, Engineering Dean (AKSU) presented his research paper in Lapang district of Thailand. Informing about it, Dr. Pradhan told that the Seminar had been organized by the Electricity Generation Organization of Thailand on the topic “Coal Mining and Utilization for Sustainable Development organized between 23rd to 24th of November, 2017. Dr. Pradhan presented the paper on topic High wall Mining, which was appreciated by the people present over there. Highwall Mining, which is an Open Cast Mining, is functioning successfully in Sohagpur region of Madhya Pradesh. The technique is successfully operationalized in a number of mines of Andhra Pradesh. One of the specialties of Wall mines is its capacity of maintaining and protecting the coal, and its quality. During the Seminar, the subject experts had the extensive discussion with Dr. Pradhan, and gained the knowledge of Wall Mines technique. The Seminar was followed by the MoU, which was signed between Dr. GK Pradhan and Ampon Kitichotkul, who is the Chief Executive of Maymo Mines. The signed MoU will give the opportunity to students of AKS University to receive vocational training in Thailand. The management of AKS University and all staff members have
