Completion of a two-day National Webinar at the Department of Environmental Science of AKS, University
Plastic & E - Waste Management - Lecture on A Challenge to Clean Environment
Satna. The two-day National Webinar program at the Department of Environment Science of the AKS University was concluded on 14 August in which Dr. Mahendra Kumar Tiwari, Convenor of Program, on AKS Meet platform, welcomed the guests. Dr. Sunita Arya Secretary GESSSA Glocal Environment and Social Sciences, New Delhi, gave a detailed introduction of the institution. Mr. Hema Damani spoke to the participants about e-waste recycling and management at the web conference. In the program, Mr. Anand Kumar, highlighted the management rules for e-waste in detail. Dr. Ashwini Karwariya, AGM, Sustainable Development Birla Cement Maihar, elaborated Plastic Waste Management Disposal Technique. Bhavika Baghmare, Nagpur, has conveyed her invaluable opinion on E- Waste Scenario in India and Next. Dr. ML Patel, The Pollution Control Board, Satna, MP provided information on Reduction in Plastic Waste Generation, through Control of the Use of Single Use Plastics. A national workshop is being organized under the joint auspices of Department of Environmental Science of AKS University, Glocal Environment and Social Sciences, New Delhi, and Pollution Control Board, Satna, MP. It is noteworthy that in the series of webinars, so far more than 81 webinars have been organised by various departments of AKS University Satna. Pro Chancellor Anant Kumar Soni proposed vote of thanks. Department of Environment Science professor Suman Patel, Manish Kushwaha, Bhupundra Singh, Niladri Shekhar Roy gave remarkable support to the event. The Vote of Thanks was given by Dr. AK Verma and the program was concluded by Dr. Sunita Arya. All the speakers provided relevant information to the participants on Plastic & E-Waste Management - A Challenges to Clean Environment. In the program, more than 1100 hundred participants joined online, participated in panel discussion and asked questions.
