Chancellor Scholarship was distributed to students

With an objective to encourage the students to perform well in future, a Chancellor Scholarship distribution programme was organized in AKS University on the occasion of Republic Day. During the programme, 333 students received the scholarship amounting Rs 11 lacks 59 thousand. On this occasion, Chancellor B P Soni announced to constitute a Chancellor Scholarship Club, and apprised the audience about the eligibility criteria needed to become its member, as well as the duties of its members. As it is noteworthy, the scholarship thus received by students will help them in monitory terms besides encouraging them to perform much better in days to come.

 Chancellor Scholarship Logo was unveiled:  On this occasion, symbol of victory; a bright logo, especially developed for the chancellor scholarship, was also unveiled. Logo unveiling ceremony was followed by the lecture of Dr Kamlesh Chaure, who informed at length about the duties and responsibilities fixed for the members of Chancellor Scholarship Club.

Excerpts from the lecture of Chancellor:  Quoting the lines from the book of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Chancellor BP Soni said that now a days, our country is beset with the problems like poverty, illiteracy and superstitions, and this is our collective responsibility to work for the eradication of these problems. Speaking about the importance of Chancellor Scholarship he said that its primary objective is to grade all talented students equally irrespective of their caste, creed and financial status.

Students, who were beneficiary: Through the Chancellor Scholarship approximately 333 students were benefitted, and the money amounting Rs 11 lacks 59 thousand was distributed among the students. Highest amount of scholarship was given to Mayank from B. Tech Mining followed by Neelam Dubey-12,900 from B.Tech Agriculture and Amar Pratap 12,900.
