AKS University has always been laying emphasis upon the research and development, in this series final semester students of Mechanical Engineering are working upon the invention of solar energy based HYBRID SYSTEM CAR under the guidance of Shailendra Singh Parihar and K.C. KORI (faculty members from Mechanical Engineering department). Informing about it faculty members told that the invented car will not only minimize the consumption of conventional sources of energy but also bring down the level of pollution. Moreover the charging cost of the used solar battery will be 80% less than the charging cost of electric battery. The cost of the car is estimated to be 1, 10,000 and weight carrying capacity is expected to be 400 k.g. which is far better than the weight carrying capacity of the cars available in market.
