“The education system of the country needs to be developed as per the mindset and culture of people as it reflects the existing culture of the country. Plenty of work on education system has been done in past and still going on in the same pace, but it requires the adequate co-ordination between past and current system. The education system must be flexible enough to accept the changes as per the need of hour.” These were the words of Dr. Raghvendra P Tiwari while addressing to the staff members at the auditorium of AKS University.
He said, the Primary, Secondary and University education, are now inappropriately divided into various compartments. He emphasized on the consolidated efforts to bring necessary changes in current education system. He said, the practical classes should be the part and parcel of the curriculum, and attention needs to be paid on learning outcome. “Our education system should follow the principle of “Vasudhave Kutumbakam” and should be industry oriented, with room for improvement”, he added. To uplift the standard of the students, he urged the teachers to become more innovative in teaching.
The lecture was attended by all Deans, Directors, HoDs, and staff members of the University.
