Horticultural department of  AKS University Satna has given a good model of production by planting unique infinity cucumber infants in an area of 384 square feet. Water and fertilizer is provided by drip irrigation method. Infinity cucumber production is 30 kg per plant.  Good yields of luxurious, luminous infanti cucumbers are being obtained. Vegetables and flowers can be easily cultivated in the off season even with this improved method of cultivation at the Polly House.  This technique is also effective in adverse weather conditions. The choice of vegetables depends on the demand and price of the market. Due to decreasing holdings and higher profits, the farmers' interest towards such farming is increasing.  It is being cultivated in the protected cultivated area of 1624 of AKS University, which is of advanced quality, it is used like salad, vegetable and normal cucumbers.

Under the Experiment Learning Program, Students studying in Agriculture Faculty of AKS University are learning this method of growing vegetables and fruits and getting detailed information about industrial agriculture under the guidance of agricultural experts.  Head of the Department of Horticulture, Dr.  Abhishek said that from last November 2020,  in 30 to 45 days, the 30 kg of production per plant has been done.  The produce is also sent for sale in the market, along with this, efforts are being made by the University to teach the protected farming tricks to the farmers of the area, the governments are also providing subsidy around 47 to 67 percent for such mechanized farming in the  agricultural area of 500 to 4000 thousand square meters.  The poly house is made of steel structure and covered with a plastic seat which is a transparent and ultraviolet ray-resistant polyethylene sheet of 200 micron thickness. A thousand square meter costs up to Rs 10 lakh, including loan amount provided by NABARD. Describing the advantages of poly houses, the head of the department said that crops grown inside the poly house can be protected from organic and natural mess, production can be taken throughout the year in the poly house.  With the growing of unseasonal crops, the cost of pesticides comes down and the production is 3 to 4 times more than normal. More than 300 agriculture students are also gaining practical knowledge in the field of poly houses every day. Pro Chancellor, AKS University, Anant Kumar Soni, Per Vice  Chancellor Dr. R., S. Tripathi, Dr.  Harsh Vardhan, Director Amit Soni, Vipin Wyohar, Former Chairman, MPPSC, Eng RK Shrivastava, Prof. G.P.Richaria, OSD Prof.RN.Tripathi have described it as an achievement of the Department of Horticulture.  The Dean, Directors, and all members of all the faculties of the AKS University family also appreciated the efforts of Horticulture Department.
