National Science Day was celebrated in the Department of Physics of AKS University Satna.  Amit Soni, Director, AKS University, Satna, while addressing the students of the Department of Physics, said that during the interaction with you on the occasion of National Science Day, I see a scientist in every student. Since science is the field of experimentation, so all of you  have to gain knowledge based on experiments and their results.  Intheprogram of National Science Day,  Dean Prof.  G.  P.  Richaria,  apprisedthestudents of theutilityofNationalScienceDay with his great learning and experience.  Dr.  Nilesh Roy, while interacting with the students in the program, said that this day is celebrated in memory of Dr. C.V. Raman, who was a great son of India.  It was the discovery of the Raman effect that led to a major work in science. He also received the Nobel Prize in 1930 due to this discovery.  The theme of the year -2021 is Future of STI, Impact on Education, Skill and Work.  Intheprogram, along with Dr. Dinesh Mishra,  the presence of Basic science faculties had been remarkable. The program also introduced the students with  faculties of the Physics Department and achievements the Department had on its name.  In the Two-day program the inaugural session  on March 2, was addressed by Amit Soni, Director, AKS  University Satna. Along with this many science competitions have been organized on March 3, 2021. The programme will conclude with cultural performances and prize distribution on the second consecutive day.
