Study and job after that is the dream of a student and the realization of this dream is made possible by the institute.  Four students of Diploma Mining Faculty  of AKS University Satna have got the appointment as Surveyor Tranee in JSW Steel. The happily selected students Satish Sahu, Shubham Singh, Aman Bajpai and Abdul Shakir proved their mettle to become Diploma Engineer Trainees at JSW Steel.  These promising students have been selected as Surveyor Trainee in JSW Steel.  JSW Steel is a very big corporate of India, started in 1982. Appointment in such organizations is like a dream come true. Diploma Mining Surveying students have secured selection after subsequent tests and interviews. The selected students will go for paid training in JSW Group.  The selected students have got a great opportunity to work.  There will be a probation period of 1 year for all the students.  After one year, they will be given appointment on the post of surveyor on the revised salary.  The salary hike will also be available for them.  After this joining, opportunities of promotion will be available to all the four students.  The promotion will be provided on the basis of their ability and functionality.  On selection of students of Mining Faculty. Pro-Chancellor Anant Kumar Soni, Per-Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Dr. RS Tripathi, Engg.  Dean Dr.G.K.Pradhan, Prof.Anil Mittal, Head of Department B.K.Mishra, Eng.R.K. Final year students of Diploma Electrical of AKS University Satna got training at CTI Jabalpur.  Diploma electrical students received training information about electrical power transmission along with knowledge of transformers, lightning conductor and meter testing.  Dr.AK Tiwari, SE, Jabalpur, K.K.  Sonawane, SE, Satna, Eng.R.K.Srivastava, Ravi Nagvanshi, and Head of the Department, Eng.Rama Shukla contributed significantly in the training programme. The University   provides ample opportunities for industry oriented training in all the faculties.  Under the guidance of the Head of Electrical Department and Faculties, all the students have learned other related information like Working of Substation, Electric Generation, Transmission, Fossil Fuel, Electric Power Generation, Bulk Power, Product Services, System Automation, Efficiency, Reliability and New Sources of Energy generation and supply. They also got information on mechanical components with proper voltage insulation, heating effect, electrical requirements, climate condition etc.

Under the  Chairmanship of Dr. Mohan Yadav, Higher education minister of the government of Madhya  Pradesh  implementation committee meeting of the task force for New Education Policy was held in Bhopal. The meeting was addressed by the Higher Education Minister. He said that in order to provide quality and job oriented education, important changes shall be made in the education system.  The initial changes in broad view  are being brought in about 79 courses. These changes are as per the need of current job patterns.  In the meeting, Dr. Harshvardhan  Shrivastava, Per Vice Chancellor offered valuable suggestions with regard to new education policy, in the context of Madhya Pradesh. It is noteworthy that the committee has been constituted for implementation of new education policy, in which Harshvardhan Shrivastava is a member.  Dr.  Harsh Vardhan propounded the need for a comprehensive survey to encourage local employment. He stressed that in consultation with industrial institutions, business organizations, the Chamber of Commerce, small industry associations and other entrepreneurs associated with the business world, skills oriented professional courses should be formulated in higher education.  He also said that according to the Government of India's plan for hands-on training and apprenticeship, maximum number of students should be enrolled and be benefited in MP.  Therefore, with acceleration  of meaningful initiatives in this direction, cooperation of the district administration, government institutions and various departments related to development will also be necessary.  In this meeting, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bilaspur, Dr.  ADN  Vajpayee, Dr.  Ashok Gwal, Dr.  Gopal Sharma, Dr.  Umashankar Pachauri, Member Task Force Committee, Additional Principal Secretary Higher Education Anupam Rajan, Commissioner Higher Education, Balimbe and other members of the Task Force Committee also gave their suggestions.  The presence of OSD Anil Pathak, Ajay Khare etc. was remarkable in the meeting.  The program was conducted by Dhirendra Shukla, OSD Higher Education.  AKS University's Pro Chancellor Anant Kumar Soni expressed confidence that AKS University would play an important role in the implementation of the National Education Policy.

Five students of Food Technology of AKS University Satna have been selected for the post of District Resource Person in PMFME (Prime Minister's Micro Food Processing). The Prime Minister's Formulation of Micro Food Processing Enterprise scheme is operated under the Self-reliant India campaign run by the Ministry of Food Processing, Central Government.  They have been selected on the lines of DRP One District One Product.  The selected students have been given responsibilities under ODOP (One District One Product) for setting up various food industries in 5 different districts of Madhya Pradesh. They will  be preparing DPRs and getting loan sanction by banks for the entrepreneurs etc.  The selected students are Rahul Pratap Singh (Shahdol), Jaspreet Kaur (Katni), Vivek Pal (Sivani), Prajwal Raghuvanshi (Chhindwara) and Naveen Chauhan (Anuppur).  It is noteworthy that the University  is committed to provide course based learning to all its students on the spirit of Think Local, Learn Global. The training which is provided to the students by various companies, is resulting in continuous selection of students. On this selection of the students, the teachers of the university congratulated them for their bright future and on their achievement, Pro Chancellor, AKS University, Anant Kumar Soni, Head of Department Rajesh Mishra, Training and Placement Coordinator Engg.  Prafulla Gautam have expressed their happiness.
