Pharmacy Department of AKS University organized a grand Career Seminar, exclusively for the students of higher secondary and high school, which was attended by approximately 500 students of various schools running in Satna district. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Surya Prakash Gupta, HoD, Pharmacy Department said that adequate career counseling helps the students in selection of right career, and with a view to guide the students in selection of right career, Career Guidance Seminar has been organized. Sharing the dais, Dr. Mahesh Burande, who is an eminent scientist of pharmacy said that AKS University will be the right choice for the students aspiring to shape up their career in pharmacy field as it gives a number of options to students in selection of career through various pharmaceutical courses running here like D. Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy and M.Pharmacy.Speaking  further he said that Pharmacy industry is making the progress by leaps and bounds and pharmaceutical companies like Ranbaxy,Cadila, Lupin and Himalaya select the promising candidates for various working units like production,administration,sales and marketing etc.

Schools which participated in Seminar: During the seminar, students from various schools like Saraswati, Scholerhomes, Nalanda, Aditya, Anupama, Blooms, Chanakya Public School, Digamber Jain and CMA participated.

In the second session of the seminar, students were informed comprehensively about the pharmaceutical industries and quality control system. At the end of seminar, mementoes were given to the guests who made their esteem presence, as well as the students were given the certificates of participation. During the seminar, Vice Chancellor-Paritosh K Banik, Pro Vice Chancellor-Dr. Harshvardhan, professor- R.N. Tripathi, Dr. S.P. Gupta and a large number of students were present.
