International Women’s Day was celebrated at the auditorium of AKS University, under the guidance of Rama Shukla (HoD, EE) on the topic “Time is Now, Rural and Urban Activities Transforming Women’s life.”The function was inaugurated with some valuable information pertaining to women rights in form of interesting stories. Addressing to women staff members, Dr. Devendra Patel shared valuable information related to Breast Cancer, and said that it was an incurable disease in past, but now, with the new inventions in medical field, has become a curable one, and good medical facilities for its treatment are available in our country as well. 

On this occasion, Prachi Singh, Karate Trainer of AKS University, led the team of women and students, and showcased their martial art skills. The students of MSW exhibited a drama to reflect the women’s rights, and the uplifting life style of Indian women. Sarla and Ratna Soni, through their beautiful song, tried to arouse the spirit of empowerment within women. During the function, Chairman-Er. Anant Soni, Vice-Chancellor-PK Banik, and all the women staff members of AKS University were present.
