After receiving the joining letter from Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, The happiness of four students of Diploma Mining knew no bounds. The  students Pawan Kumar Singh, Ankit Kumar, Ravi Shankar Bharti and Daduram Chaudhary appeared in the written examination of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited and proved their ability and became the mining chief.  These promising students have been selected as Mining Chiefs for T&S Grade C.  Mahanadi Coalfields Limited is an organization of Coal India located in Sambhalpur, Orissa.  There is a huge opportunity to work in the mining field.  After diploma mining students selection here, all the students will have a probation period of 6 months, after which they will get a salary hike along with the opportunity of promotion on the revised salary.  Right now in Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, their salary package will be thirty one thousand eight hundred fifty two thousand rupees per month i.e. three lakh eighty two thousand rupees per annum, which will be effective for six months, in the next phase, 6 months TA, DA and other items will also be provided separately.  After this joining, many opportunities of promotion will be available to all the four students.  On the selection of students of the Faculty of Mining, University's Pro-Chancellor Anant Kumar Soni, Per-Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Vardhan, Dr. RS Tripathi, Engg.
