An Awareness program in the context of Covid-19 epidemic in the auditorium of AKS University Satna.

The National Academy of Sciences Bhopal Chapter and the Department of Biotechnology of AKS University jointly organised an awareness programme, in the context of Covid-19 epidemic, in the auditorium of AKS University Satna.  In awareness campaign more than 600 students, scientists and faculty of educational institutions participated. In the Webinar Prof. Manju Verma Former Secretary, Government of India, Department of Biotechnology and Chairperson Nasi, in her address, said that India's role in the Covid-19 epidemic and its prevention, control and direction of this epidemic, has been very effective.  She added that the efforts made in this epidemic have been at the forefront of all aspects.  In the series of lectures in the online program, Dr. GM Padmanabhan, Honorable Chairman NASI and former Director IIMC, Bangalore, in his excellent address, informed the audience about the structure and mutation of the corona virus.  Simultaneously, an address was given by ICMR, Government of India, the participants were informed about the status of infection in India in pre-lockdown and post lockdown and the competency level of vaccine of Covid-19.
