Cement Technology Department of AKS University is set to facilitate the training to 15 marketing officials of KJS Cement industries, scheduled to be held between 18^th to 23^rd of December. Dr. G C Mishra, the Head of Cement Engineering Department of AKS University, formally inaugurated the programme, and transmitted the basic information to participants.Pankaj Sinha; one of the representatives of KJS Cement Industries said that the training programme will turn out to be very significant and fruitful for the participants. After the inauguration of programme, Dr GC Mishra conveyed the basic information regarding portland cement manufacturing process and types of cement applicability. Apart from it, Dr. Mishra also shared the substantial information to the trainees on types of cement, physical and chemical composition of raw materials, and its impact on the quality of cement. Theoretical lecture of Dr. Mishra was followed by the practical demonstration, where participants learnt the intricacies of lab testing of cement. Furthermore, the trainees were made to do the practical works on finance and standard consistency. 

As it is well known, the Cement Technology Department of AKS University has been organizing these kinds of training programme in past as well, when the young engineers of Ultratech Cement had been trained. Same sort of programme has also been organized for the engineers and workers of Prism cement industries.
