Following the directives of Economic and Statistical Department of MP government, AKS University organized a grand symposium on Aadi- Shankaracharya here on Tuesday. As it is well known, government has planned to set up a gigantic portrait of Shankaryacharya within a shorter span of time.In order to implement this plan, metal collection compaign has been initiated in state level. A procession, by the name “Ekatma Yatra” is slated to be organized between 25^th to 27^th of December in Satna district. Symposium organized at AKS University was aimed to commemorate the life philosophy of Shankaryacharya, his great personality and his contribution to society. On this occasion, District Co-Ordinator Pradeep Tiwari said that Shankaracharya was the incarnation of lord Shiva, and his life has been the source of inspiration for all. AK Singh, Judge, District Court, expressed his views on the birth of Shankaracharya, his initial life period, and his spiritual journey. The function was anchored and directed by Dr. Deepak Mishra.
